Inside of the Simpson household and located the hallway were Lisa and her mother. Marge used her rubber-gloved hands and scrubbed a scattered, grimy array of pig tracks imprinted on the floor with a soaked sponge. Her jubilant eight-year-old daughter rested herself on the last stair of the staircase, eagerly explaining to her mom about the earlier events of the day. She thoroughly described your existence with an indication of enchanted fascination laced between her wording, an unnoticed blush seeping through her fair cheeks as she continuously ranted on about you. At the mere thought of you, sensations of fluttering ecstasy overflowed from her heart and stirred up feelings of lingering, tingling warmth tenderly abundant in her chest. She was physically incapable of properly sitting still for just a moment's time due to the sheer excitement and couldn't contain herself as she kept blabbering on and on.

“Oh, wait, I didn't tell you the best part: they love the environment. Ooh, wait, I still didn't tell you the best part: they've got a charming hue~! No, no, wait, wait! I still didn't tell you the best part: they're not imaginary!” Lisa relentlessly counted on as she sprung onto her feet with her arms flailed high above her head, the biggest grin outstretched across her youthful visage.

“Aw, honey, that's great! But the very best thing is that they listen to you. Because nothing means more than for a man/woman to—,” Marge abruptly interrupted herself as her vision suddenly caught notice of something of a peculiar oddity and she viewed upwards, “how did the pig tracks get on the ceiling?”

Homer unexpectedly emerged onto the scene, with both hands holding onto either sides of a pig, who he kept upside down as he heartily guided the pig back and forth along the ceiling, meanwhile the pig's feet were thickened with a heavy layer of mud and left behind feet tracks on the ceiling. The dopey, middle-aged father happily sang along to the tune of the Spider-Man theme, adding on his own improvisational rendition to the highly iconic and well-known song.

“Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig. Does whatever a Spider-Pig does. Can he swing, from a web? No, he can't, he's a pig. Look out! He is a Spider-Pig...”

Marge looked on, blankly.

In the peaceful solitude of silence, you leisurely sauntered the Avenue underneath the afternoon skies with your hands stuffed into your pockets, fingertips fiddling with the random items stored inside. Gentle tunes whistled from your lips as you whisper-hummed along to songs produced by your favourite bands and artists. In the vast distance, the blistering sun descended down along the skyline, beams of sunlight peeking through the fluffy scattered mass of clouds in the sky and filling the sky with swirling streaks of tangerine. Your visible silhouette followed after every movement you performed in your bodily stance as you ankled down the isolated sidewalks, keeping yourself reserved within your inner train of thoughts as you reminisced over the happenings of today that occurred between you and Lisa. A smile flourished onto your facial expression and you lightly chortled to yourself at the memories. Despite only knowing each other for a few hours, it seemed as though the two of you got along perfectly- you both surprisingly related to one another a lot in certain situations and scenarios, and both of you harboured the same interests and opinions. Plus, Lisa wasn't like all the other Springfieldians- from the short duration of time you've conversed with her, she seemed considerate, friendly, and attained deep and caring regard for the environment, animals, and the wellbeing of others.

There was a skip in your step, and the smile carved onto your face only increased even more and reached upwards to your (E/c) eyes. You must've looked like an idiot for that widened grin plastered onto your features, but it didn't bother you in the slightest. You happily kicked your feet against the ground. You were beyond exuberant to now have a new friend in Springfield. And though you maintained friendships with other children you cared deeply back in your old life, there was just something about Lisa that really piqued at your interest. Before meeting Lisa, you felt creeping loneliness and a bit of sorrow due to the fact that long-distance relationships with friends and peers never remained. Buy now you finally had someone new in your life and you were beyond joyous.
