Lucy POV

My eyebrow twitched of annoyance as they all kept shouting at me. "Shut up!" I yelled making it go silent. It was so quiet you could hear their breathing from all the yelling. "Since we are splitting up why don't we just randomly pick someone?" I suggested making all the boys grunt

"I think that's a great idea!" Erza nodded. "So how will we do it?" Gray asked half naked, no surprise their so we didn't say anything

"Hmm.... since it's an odd number of us, one of the teams will have three in it. So why not Lucy picks a number between 1 and 50 and whoever is closer gets to be her partener, and so and so forth" Erza explained, her wise self as usual

"Ok I'll go first!" Luna said cocky

"Your number is 12!" she grinned

I smiled "Nope" and she gave a frown and muttered "Tch.... not like I care"

Natsu replied "34"

Gray replied "22"

Rogue replied "46" and Sting replied "29"

"Hmmm..... the closest one to my number was Rogue" I smiled making Rogue cheer and holler

"My number was 45" I groaned as Rogue hugged me tightly and stuck his tongue out at the others

After we ended up with our teams, they were

Rogue and me

Gray, Sting and Erza

And guess what? Natsu and Luna, yep as much as I protested along with everyone else, Natsu and Luna wanted to be partnered to see who was stronger

"Well now you guys know the plan when you see him or something" Erza said dragging Sting and Gray behind her. Me and Rogue went off into another direction and Luna and Natsu did the same as well. When we got deep into the forest I spoke "I'm feeling a little anxious about Luna being with Natsu, what if he finds out?" I gulped

"I highly doubt he'll find out and if he does then it's a miracle" he chuckled but I just ignored his comment and just kept wondering whats happening with everyone else

We walked deeper and deeper into the forest for hours and no one found anything. All of a sudden Rogue stopped making my hand land on my key pouch. "I heard something from afar" he whispered while concentrating on the sound, obviously I couldn't hear because I ain't no dragonslayer

"Do you think it's just the others?" I whispered back but he shook his head

"This is the enemy..." he whispered/yelled. "Stay here, be alert" he then transformed into a shadow and glided on the ground and disappeared in a blink of an eye

Ever since I joined Sabertooth I grew stronger from training with different people around the guild. Thanks to Sting and Rogue I'm good at hand to hand combat and skilled with my whip. But Yukino and I trained together and we both learned new spells

I grabbed my whip off my belt and got into a defense mode. I concentrated and listened to my surroundings. "Concentrate...." I huffed under my breath

Seconds which turned into minutes passed and still nothing but I never let my guard down. All of a sudden I heard faint footsteps coming from ahead, and I could tell already it wasn't Rogue nor anyone else. The magic energy I'm feeling was way stronger than anyone of us.

I heard a soft sinister laugh "What a pretty girl" a deep voice said. I looked and saw a handsome man with red hair and a few black streaks in his spiky locks. He had a small scar under his left eye and a black tattoo on his right cheek. Had a black best revealing his well built body which had a tattoo on his chest. He gave me an evil grin "Your quite a pretty mage"

I quickly grabbed Lokes key "I open thee! Gate of the lion!" I chanted but nothing. He laughed "No use, I can cancel anyways magic, even your silly key magic" he grinned wickedly

"Fine by me" I gave a stern face while showing off my whip. I can't signal everyone else if I can't summon my spirits, so I'm just gonna have to fight myself "Pretty and cocky?" he smirked

"Let me be a gentleman shall I? My name is Raven or some call me Iwao, which means stone man" he smirked as his hands started to get engulfed with a red sphere

"I don't like hurting such pretty girls" he stated making me sneer

"Give me your best shot" I dared and he just smiled. "You got it hottie"

What a freaking flirt -_-

"Blood sphere!" he yelled. He kept his ground but red blood started to seep out of the spheres in his hands. It dripped down his hands and onto the ground and the red liquid rolled down towards my feet and when it touched my foot it burned "What the hell is this!?" I yelled while jumping

He laughed "Boiling blood, from the god of death himself" he smirked

"Tch, let's see" I lashed my whip towards him but all of a sudden he melted into the red liquid "What the hell?!"

His sinister laugh echoed "I got a few tricks up my sleeve" he then reappeared from the boiling blood. "Your weak" he said

That echoed in my head

Your weak, your weak, your weak

LUCY IS WEAK! YES SHE CANT HANDLE HERSELF! SHE DOESNT DESERVE SOMEONE LIKE ME!OK! SHE'S SO DAM WEAK!

I remembered when Natsu said that about me, why now? Out of all times I remember it now

"LUCY!"

I snapped out of it and saw Rogue yelling my name but it was to late, the red boiling blood was in a spear kind of shape and headed towards me. My body couldn't move

"LUCYYYY!!!"
