Trapped inside the confine of the suffocating silence
A sense of a lockdown that makes the heart weep
A frightening thought of the loved ones passing away like the wind of sorrows
What was supposed to be a happy occassion
Became a predicament of slaughter and immense struggle
The blood isn't that of an animal sacrifice but humanity's loss of insanity
Was it less painful to see innocent souls taken away
Or was it all in vein that the earth shattering screams pleased the sadist's black heart
Do you know how it feels like being left abandonned of the love that once was the warmth
Or do you know the feeling of hunger that deprives one from the passion within
Do you know the vulnerable sensation that makes us dependent
Or are you just doing this for the lust of fake honor that for God is something to be despised
Had it been sane humanity today the poor souls would've lived
Celebrated these three days of joy and religious sacrifice with ease
No worries were to be in the way if only there was respect
Had there been no greed to win the long lost land
Today we could've announced to our brothers 'Peace Finally'
But it all comes down to the point where blood streams
Like the river with dead bodies and screams from the spirit of angst
Today I request my fellows to stand up and speak up for our brothers and sisters in despair
Let our voices be loud and supportive
For we will never surrender to the evil that lies ahead
Because at the end we wish for Freedom and independence atlast!

Today i wrote something different because as we all know that Kashmir unlike other Muslim countries is not getting to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha freely...it's been aprox 2 weeks for its lock down and blood shed... So i encourage you all to share your love on any platform of social media to support Kashmir. Lets show our patriotism for Kashmir fellow Pakistanis! ❤🇵🇰
