Still devasted that Adrien doesn't love her, Ladybug leaves herself vulnerable to akumas however when Hawkmoth attempts to akumatize her Cat Noir saves her but ends up getting himself Akumatized
"Any last words?" Hawkmoth asked Marinette who was holding the unconscious and badly injured Adrien, "yes it's my turn now, " she said grabbing Cat Noir's ring and placing it on her finger, the ring glowed a bright purple and covered Marinette in a blinding purple and golden light "no those miraculous belong to me!" Hawkmoth yelled "then come and take them, " Marinette said emerging from the light in a purple and golden outfit, Hawkmoth raced towards her and attempted to attack her but she knocked him off his feet just by moving her hand, "this is impossible!" Hawkmoth yelled and tried to attack her again but it was fruitless, she stopped him from moving towards her with her new powers "your obsession to get the Miraculous poisoned you to the point where you didn't even care if your own son got hurt and for your tyranny, my wish is for everything that you have done to have never happened!" She yelled her eyes glowing bright pink, 'I know what this will cost me but I don't care, I can't live in a world without Adrien.' Suddenly the world came into view again and when Marinette opened her eyes, she found herself in the arms of her kitty "Adrien?" She asked worried that he didn't remember what had happened "hello milady, " he said giving her his Cat Noir smile, "I'm so glad you're okay, " she said tearfully hugging him "I'm not though, " he admitted "Hawkmoth was evil but he was still my father, " he said tearing up.

She was going to say something but then she noticed that his ring wasn't on his finger, she also noticed that she couldn't feel her earrings "Adrien what happened too?" She asked, "we can't use them anymore, the price of your wish was that we lost our connection to them." He explained, "so what happens now?" She asked him "I guess we try to forget, " "I don't wanna forget, " she said closing the distance between them.
