Lyn pov

"Lyn... Lyn wake up" I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes it was cold it was snowing I fully opened my eyes to see a forest I wasn't in the Tortuga it was beautiful snow was everywhere

"glad to see you finally woke up lyn" that voice who was it I turned around to see a male with ears and a tail with clothes that were pure white but one eye was yellow and the other blue

"do I know you" I asked but he chucked and smiled "not in this form but you remember the Fox named hint your adopted father named" my mind was racing with questions how did he know I was adopted "yes.. " he held out his hand "well I'm hint just in another form this is technically my true form"

No way that was hint why was this happening "a-am I dead" I was worried I wanted daddy and uncle Chris "no little one your body's sleeping right now this world we are in is all in your head" he smiled pulling me up from the snow

"what are you hint" I asked as he started walking and I followed "I am the spirit of winter" he responded I was shocked "so you control the snow" I asked and he nodded we kept walking

I saw animals as we walked but there was something different about them they didn't have color they were made of stars "the animals here are not actually animals Lyn" I looked surprised as he smiled looking into my eyes "what are they then" my curiosity was rising I wanted to know

"they are the souls of humans transformed into animals... Lyn do you know why I brought you here" his face expression changed to a serious one "no.. " I looked at him scared "one day you will face your uncle in a battle to the death for the family you love most" he stated w-what no I can't fight my uncle I'm too weak and he'll kill me in a few seconds I started shaking "don't worry young Lyn I'm here to help you against him inside you is the key to setting you free from the fear inside you" his words soothe me

"how... "I asked "I'm not strong enough to fight him" I looked down but hint raised my head to look me in the eyes "with time you will lyn the stars are on your side" I looked around and all the animals of the forest was circled around us

A voice rang in my head "you are the generation of the unafraid" it was momma voice "she is right lyn in 8 years from now you will fight your uncle and with the stars on your side you will be unafraid " he chanted along with all the other animals

"you are still very young for this but as a token nine animals will give you two gifts" he backed away as one animal walked in front of me  but the eyes of the wolf reminded me of someone "daddy..." I whispered and the wolf nodded "as my daughter I present you the gift of strength and protection use both to protect your family " he touched my head with his nose and I felt a cold chill pass through me

He backed up and next came a small cat "as my daughter I present you the gift of wisdom and courage may you use it well" it was momma she touched my head and moved on next was  a dog of some breed "my name is Minda and I present you the gift of speed and stealth" as this went on I have gained many gifts that I will apparently will need against uncle jeff

It came down to the last gift but no animal stood before me I looked at hint "as spirit of winter I present you the gift of life" he touches my head with his hand and everything goes white

Next I hear voices but I couldn't figure who it was until the ringing stopped "HEY GUYS I THINK SHE'S WAKING UP"
