𝘺𝘢𝘸𝘯 Young Halley woke up to the song of singing birds.
"𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺 " she thought was she got up and tumbled down the creaky stairs of they're seemingly old house.
"𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘦" her dad beamed at her while ruffling her hair. Her mother was hustling through the house looking for her keys so she can head to work at the City Bank. It was Halley's birthday and as she opened the last gift from her mother. It was a nice clean hoodie. And Halley loved it. She kissed her mom on the forehead goodbye on her way out the door. Halley didn't know this will be the last time.
