Jimin couldn't stop his eyes from staring, lingering to his plump, red lips that were just waiting for him to pluck them. He kept trying to unsubtly bring his hand closer to his, wiggle his fingers in hopes Jungkook would get the hint but he never seemed to. When he did notice he'd just look up at him and smile, then carrying on talking.

Jimin huffs in annoyance, lips sticking out in a pout as he drags his fingers across the table. He stretched out his little fingers, twirling them around on the wood in hopes to get Jungkook to notice. He'd been babbling on about his job; don't get Jimin wrong he liked hearing about his life but he wanted him to talk while holding his hand.

"My boss can be a real dick but he's a good guy, his passion for cars is insane. I mean I thought I loved them but he's on a whole different level." Jungkook laughs, when he talked about cars it always got his engine going.

Jimin only nods along, trying his upmost best to get Jungkook to just hold his fucking hand. He even went to the length of dropping his chopsticks so he'd pick them up but the stupid waitress had to intervene.

"Jimin? Jimin are you listening?" Jungkook tilts his head, Jimin looks up.

"Huh? What of course! Cars wasn't it? I love cars, you've got a nice car." Jimin's eyes flick back to his hand which was inches from his, chewing on his lip as he debates if he should just go for it.

Jungkook laughs, he'd noticed Jimin's seemingly growing infatuation with his hand but he didn't say anything since he wanted to see what he'd do. Though he decided to take matters into his own hands seeing as Jimin wasn't going too.

"You still need to learn about subtlety Jimin." He finally takes Jimin's small hand in his, making Jimin's cheek heat up.

He squeezes his hand, lifting their fingers up to tangle together. Jimin looks up to him, smiling like a giddy child.

"Let's go, it's still light out why don't we take a walk on the beach." Jungkook suggests, Jimin didn't need to think about it he just nods his head.

"Yes! Yes I'd like that very much." Jimin clumsily gets up, leaving his half eaten food but still holding Jungkook's hand.

Jungkook chuckles at his antics, getting up as well and dragging him along. He pays for the bill, Jimin tries complaining but Jungkook just shuts him down saying he was the adult.

"Have you been to Bondi yet?" Jungkook asked him as they walked out, still hand in hand since Jimin didn't plan on letting go anytime soon.

"We went the day after we arrived, I'm actually now part of Bondi's surf club." Jimin beams at him, surf club was always something he enjoyed, he loved the ocean.

"Wow? You're more involved in Australian culture than I am. Bet you haven't seen it at sunset though." Jungkook pulls him along, walking past his car down the street where the beach laid.

Jimin looks down, smiling gleefully at their intertwined hands. He felt so warm, his small hand fitting so comfortably in his. This felt surreal to him, he was actually holding Jungkook's, going on a date with the man he's been fantasising about nonstop for the past few weeks. He knew it was probably stupid, but he couldn't help falling for him. He was young, it came easy to him but he wanted it to be real not just some teenage crush.

His eyes glisten when they make it to the beach, the sun was just perfectly setting on the bed of the wide ocean water. It created a delicious orange pink tint that was breathtaking, leaving this soft purple haze above the sky.

"It's beautiful Jungkook." Jimin turns to him, eyes shining.

Jungkook smiles at him, pulling him closer he moves behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist acting like a big spoon.
