1: Species Lucia's species is NOT human nor mutant. She's half and half, the ooze injected into her bloodstream only being a quarter of it, which is why it was activated when she touched the metal pipe.
2: Species Cahira's breed, Fury, is a special breed of feline. Furies can be a house cat or a mutant cat, but there are NeVeR wild cat Furies. The males and females of the breed always have literal nine lives, while only the females have special markings around their eyes.
3: Species Mystics, like Xena and Dusty, can only be killed by another Mystic. A human could injure them, sure, but it would never cause any real pain, more like a weird sting. Only Mystics are able to wound a Mystic if that makes any sense.
4: Music Preference Most of my OCs have the same music preference as I do; Mostly rock and roll, Country, maybe some dubstep/pop mixed in (mostly from animation memes), etc.
5: Roleplay If events that happen in Rps my OCs are in, it's not canon to my OC backstory/story arc unless the character was developed in a rp, like Midnight or Hobs. Midnight and Hobs' backstories are purely dedicated to the rp Galaxy and my other friends are in.
6: Habits\Pet Peeves A lot of my OCs pet peeves are some of my own as well as habits. Tanya Chang for instance has a habit of chewing on her claws/knuckle, like I used to do a lot. I've gotten rid of the habit of chewing my nails though. One of my other habits is when I don't want to sit down but also don't want to do anything, is pace. Cahira and Midnight do this a lot, as well as Hex, Kamara Blackfang, and more.
7: Disorders I used to never be comfortable with the idea of an OC of mine having disorders, mostly since I used to not know how to write them with that disorder. I stepped out of my comfort zone when making Tanya; Tanya has depression, mild anxiety, and PTSD. I didn't know how to write with depression so I usually wrote her being happy or injured. A lot of my stories mainly focus on the fluff and happiness before the injury and bloody battles.
8: Disorders Now that I'm older and know more about disorders, I'm more comfortable with writing phobias and disorders into my characters as well as searching for new ones. I found out today there's a thing called selective mutism, meaning the person can only speak or sing when they're alone.
9: Phobias Some of my OCs have phobias I have. For instance, I'm scared witless of deep waters that I can't see the bottom of. Cahira has this fear. However I am not scared of canines, like Tanya. Tanya is petrified of literally any canine other than wolves or foxes. She likes foxes and wolves due to her past. I once wrote that in my headcanons, Old Hob has a fear of being abandoned or chased out. My OC Syn Aminru is afraid of commitment and heartbreak. Tashi has a phobia of snowstorms, so you never really see her outside when it's around winter. Diesel has a phobia of wasps, like me. I'm also scared witless of bugs bigger than my thumb. Surprisingly I'm not scared of gators or any large predatory animal. I am scared of heights taller than I am however and will hesitate or freeze up when faced with a drop no more than 5 feet. That's why I can't jump off a slide or ladder-
10: Emotions Alyx is missing a few emotions. He's not vengeful or violent in any way. He has a defensive emotion, meaning he will defend himself/others physically and verbally if he has to. He's also got no anger emotion, which is why he's always calm and collected. Very rarely will he show happiness and when he does, Bela makes sure to tease him about it.
11: Disabilities Some OCs of mine don't have a lot of physical disabilites, but some do emotionally. Jolene knows no sense of violent boundaries, especially when angry.
12: Drink Preferences Despite being by a bar, I have limited knowledge of liquor and such. So usually I stick with what I know and what would fit my OCs. Jolene, Cahira, Bree Knightly, Frost, and a lot more would prefer a beer. Mila, Dusty, Xena, Gypsy, and more would rather a martini or a calm drink. Vika Satrinava and Viveka Valkyrie would mostly go for vodka or black vodka, being Russian. Syn, Cyl, Hex, and more would probably go for Bloody Mary's. Others however, have very strange preferences. Like Bela and Alyx. They can only really drink ink, like actual pen ink, doesn't matter. If they tried drinking anything other than ink, like a simple water, they would either be sick for days or throw up for hours; They were born from ink and thus ink is keeping them alive. So note to self, never give Bela, Alyx and Bronwyn a drink that's not ink-
13: Soft Spots We all have soft spots, right? Demon Alyx has a huge soft spot for puppies, which is probably why he has like 4 Hellhounds. Devil Midnight has a soft spot for infants and kittens while Devil Lucia has a weakness of German Shepherds or big guard dogs. Like me-
14: Pets Weird, right? Animals owning animals? It's writer and OC logic don't question it. As much as a lot of my OCs don't prefer or want a pet, a lot of them don't want pets because usually they remind them too much of their own personality. Though Bellatrix would love having another friend to play with if Bela adopted a puppy without talking with Alyx like, "I found a puppy and she's ours now."
15: Masquerade I have a small series of my OCs and it's a masquerade. I've always been fascinated with masquerades, probably because of the dresses and the masks, and I love making outfits for my characters. Even if I suck at drawing masks. A lot of times shifting characters, like Cyl or Raud, wear costumes and masks that hint at their other ego, like Cyl wearing a snake mask or Xena wearing a cat mask.
16: Tattoos and Scars Never have I ever thought battle scars weren't cool. I'd always wanted one like the guys in the movies, then I realized I probably didn't- but that didn't stop me from putting them into my characters. Almost every single character I've had always has some sort of physical scar; eyebrow, ear, face, torso, arm, etc. I always loved drawing notched or scratched ears, which I did with nearly all my OCs. I think the only one without a clipped or scarred ear is Bellatrix.
