I watched as the raft of bodies disappears into the horizon, the flame still burning in my eyes as I nudged Voltair to look at me. His eyes were puffy from what we could manage of the closest thing to tears and I locked eyes with him. "We are setting course to London, I have a couple friends I need to ask favors of. My men are going to take care of what they need to and I'm leaving Arlemis in charge of my ship. Do you think you can handle that, Arlemis?" I break eye contact with Voltair to look at him. "A-are you sure, M'lady? I can handle it but, what is the plan?" I chuckle to myself and look to Voltair. "Voltair and I will be taking his ship. You are all just as much his crew as his own men were. My plan is that Vera wants all out war? We shall give it to her. It's time we assemble our army and take this bloodshed to the depths, once and for all." I expected more of an uproar for the amount of danger we were plunging into but, instead there was a resounding "Aye!" from all of my men. For the next hour, Arlemis prepared my ship and sent several men over with things for our journey and I got Voltair situated aboard his ship. He insisted, no matter how much I gave him to drink, that he wanted to remain on the deck while he drank to oversee everything. I gave him that triumph and had one last word with Arlemis right before we set off. "This is going to be a lengthy trip. Feel free to raid and invade as needed, as we will for ourselves. Once we get there, the men will be bound to the ship for the time being to keep everything under control. I will ask that you ad Voltair accompany me in the area I'm going to be heading to but, discreetly. I trust all other decisions to you until we reach London." He nods and looks over at Voltair. "I will be lending a handful of men to you, M'lady so that you're not splitting running the ship between just you two." I nod and momentarily, the men were there and tending to the ship as we raised anchor and took off. I knew Voltair had an insane amout of control while he was intoxicated so, the men were fine around him as I climbed up to the bird's nest and settled up there for a while, just watching the stars. Voltair would be good soon enough, he just needed time away from all of this before dealing with it all. Hours whiled away while I was up there, humming to myself until sunrise. Once I see the sun over the horizon, I made my way down on the rope before very lightly landing on my feet on the deck and signaling to my men to keep quiet. I waved my left hand loosely and pulled some of the water from aorund the ship up to myself and hovered it above Voltair's head before releasing it and giggling. "Wakey, wakey, sunshine. The sun is coming." He startles awake and I fall over in laughter at the face he makes but, he smirks and stands. I phase in front of him to help him to his quarters. I felt like a little child when I entered those quarters again. He'd only made minor adjustments to the ship itself to accomodate for what he needed, otherwise, it was as I left it the night the Captain passed. After he settled into his chair at his desk, I leaned against it and he sighed. "Thank you for the rum, my love but, where are we off to?" I smile and explain where we are heading. "There is a tavern in London that some of my sisters run and tend to. It helps them to feed and stay out of trouble whilst creating a safe haven for other creatures. I'm calling on some of their help to assemble a small floatilla of ships at the very least to take on Vera and whoever she's involving in this. That being the problem, I don't know if I'm going to be the first to have gone there. I'm asking that you and Arlemis join me in going but, I need it to be discreetly." He smirks and leans back, looking up at me. "You really are bringing the wrath of Hell down on her for this, aren't you? Well, I can help in accompanying you discreetly. I just ask one favor." I nod to the first question and again hesitantly the latter. "Do I want to know how you plan to execute discretion with this?" He chuckles and stands, kissing my forehead and wanders throughout his quarters. "I have a friend of mine in London that happens to be able to make a rather convincing disquise, enough that I want one favor of you. Arlemis can't know it's me." I perk a brow and shake my head, throwing my hand up in surrender. "Fine. Fine. I feel like I don't want to know why, just so long as this plan follows through." The next couple days pass rather slowly but, without much to complain about and feeding became prominent on our minds. Like I'd given Arlemis permission for, I'd charted out for what ships we may be instersecting with and kept us on course to pass a couple of them. This raid would permit Voltair and myself to properly feed without restrictions. The men aided us in raiding the ship when we found it but, left most of the bloody work to us. I waited until I knew Voltair had gotten a decent amount in before I wandered to find my prey. It didn't take long before I'd found someone and tore into them. A while later, Voltair came to find me, blood still on his face as he watched me and sank to the floor to sit down. It was moments later when I finished and crawled the couple feet over to him. "Is everything ok, my love?" I sat back on my feet and reached up to wipe the blood and carnage from my face but, he grabbed my arm and stopped me, pressing his forehead to mine and kissing me deeply and holding me close. "I-I'm fine. I'm trying to accept what has happened and what is fixing to come. But, after every single one of those thoughts, I'm back to one. How much I can't lose you." I nod and look back at him, smiling. "You won't, Voltair. I'm here for as much of eternity as you'll permit me. I made that mistake before but, I won't now. Despite all of the reasons I have piled up to gut her, you're at the top of that list of reason's her death will not be a quick one." His arms go around my waist and he rakes his teeth across my shoulder, just enough to scrape instead of puncture as he mumbled. "Let me change you. LaRue, I want to spend etenity with you and I can't bear to lose you." I tense and gently grab his face and sigh. "I have stipulations. I'll do it but, on my terms. It has to wait for this to be finished. I have do this as me and I can't have the ties that come with that until I know she's never coming back." He locks eyes with me and a smile crawls across his lips. 'Thank you, thank you, I can handle that much. You just have to promise to come out of this alive." He runs a hand along the back of my neck and into my hair and trails his hand to brace my chin and press my forehead to his. "Or I will come to the depths of Hell to find you and bring you back, Moone." I nod and kiss him passionately as the blood on moth of our tongues mix and we carnally make love amongst the bodies around us. We board the ship again as the men are loading up with the rest of the goods and sinking the ship. Within another day, we'd arrived in London and the men dropped anchor while Voltair and I prepared. I pulled out some of my more Victorian wear and had him help me with the corset and we wandered onto the docks as the sun was starting to disappear under the horizon and I split off to find Arlemis. We discuss the raids and what was collected by each. Voltair joins us, smiling and bowinng slightly. "Glad to see you made it alright as well, Arlemis. I spoke with that friend of mine and I will be joining you all again shortly once you all head to the tavern." I nod and kiss Voltair lightly before he departs. I tend to getting Arlemis cleaned up and looking different for our task. "You will be serving as my escrot tonight and I stress that oyu must be careful inside of here. This will be a place full of inhumans. The only one you can trust is me and if I say someone is ok, understood?" He nods and laces his arms with mine massively cleaned and looking barely like himself as I glamoured my siren gown over myself. We made it to the tavern and wander inside to the bar within. I survey the crowd and I'm startled out of my searching by a tap on my shoulder shortly after I sent Arlemis away to survey other parts. I'm startled and concerned at first, especially when I turn to see a woman there until I lock eyes with them. "Dear god, Voltair."
