Bored. Yes, Virat was getting bored of attending the conference. Other than him and Hridaan everyone else who was a part of the conference was middle-aged. The sole reason why Virat had agreed about joining the conference was because Hridaan had convinced him by assuring him that they will get some new partners for their business ventures there. Now, however, none of those businessmen seemed to be interested in listening to what Virat had to say as he was younger than them and they assumed him as being immature to handle big projects.

At one point, Virat was almost on the verge of losing his patience when he heard somebody by the name Rishabh Singhania, who looked as if he was in his 50s saying that he was not interested in any of the business ventures/start-ups that Virat and his friend has suggested. When Hridaan asked him about why he was not interested, he laughed and said that they seemed to be too young to handle businesses.

Although Virat has never bragged about all that he has been able to achieve in his life till date, he thought of telling Mr Singhania about it now as he was demeaning him. Before Virat could even start saying anything Hridaan beat him in it.

"Mr Singhania I don't know whether you live in some cave in the ocean bed or you live up above in the sky amidst those lofty clouds." Hridaan said with a lopsided grin which was his trademark.

"What do you mean?" Mr Singhania was confused. As a reflex, he scrunched his eyebrows. Virat continued to look to-and-fro in between Hridaan and Mr Singhania. Even he was not able to understand what his best friend was upto.

"I mean to say that the people who live here on this earth, specially in US and South-East Asia know who Virat Kohli is. Only you have failed to recognise him. That's why I thought that you don't live here on earth." Hridaan, although he was being sarcastic, he said everything in a very serious tone. Virat who had just taken a sip of the red wine from the glass, puked out some wine as he was not able to control his laughter.

Mr Singhania gave them a curt nod and left immediately. He had learnt his lesson well. All thanks to Hridaan for that. From the next time, he would think twice before trying to demean Virat.

"I am so proud of you my boy. I have taught you well." Virat laughed and patted on Hridaan's shoulder. Hridaan rolled his eyes and poked out his tongue at Virat. Seeing Hridaan act childishly, Virat remembered about Anushka. It's almost been two days since they have talked last. The last time they talked was before Virat had left for Boston.

"Thinking about Anushka." Hridaan, although he meant it as a question, it sounded more like a statement.

"Ugh! N-no. Why-y will I think about her?" Virat knew that he was caught red-handed. Still, he tried defending himself.

"Your stuttering is telling a different story. Also, you can lie using your mouth but, your eyes can never lie. That dreamy look is only for Anushka." Hridaan said confidently. Virat let out a sigh. He knew that there's no point of lying to Hridaan.

"Yes I was thinking about her." Virat admitted finally. Hridaan did a happy dance hearing that.

"So I think you should call her. This party is anyways very boring. I am giving you the chance to run away from it." Hridaan winked. It was time for him to put the third step of his plan into action.

"What about you?" Virat asked him being unsure. The prospect of getting to call Anushka was quite luring but, he didn't want to leave Hridaan alone for that either.

"I will handle a few more men like Singhania here." Saying that he winked at Virat and literally pushed him out of the conference room.

"No goooo before I change my mind and don't let you go instead." Hridaan laughed as Virat ran away.
