Writer's Block

Have you ever had a vision in your head...

Something just pops out at you. Something you wanna say, imagine, create.

But then it vanishes...and you're pissed the fuck off.

Even now writing this I keep looking at the screen thinking it's going to scream in my face...

"IDEA HERE"

"PERFECT POEM"

"JUST KEEP WRITING"

Have you ever felt like you can't do anything?

You put your pencil to the paper, your fingers on the keys.

But your mind gets a wave of.....of...

Of something that you just can't put into words.

Every moment blocked and held inside, it can't come out because once it does it's an ocean of emotions that crash into nerves...

It begins a headache, and it leads to the sadness of unsatisfaction.

Writer's block is like being shut down your entire life and being too scared to finally speak.

Speaking scary.

Scared that no one will agree...no one will understand.

That the norms of society wouldn't agree with the way you see things.

I get so much writer's block, that I'm using it in this poetry.

Using my blockage as a curve to push out more and more words.

So it looks like I know what I'm doing, but I don't.

This is all just something I'm trying to make a poem out of.

I CAN TELL IT'S NOT WORKING...

Writer's block is an illness that has a cure, but what is the cure?

How can you cure something that is totally in your head, something wrong with your creativity?

I think I've gotten off track..and I'm not going to fix it.

This probably isn't a poem anymore...

Oh well.

Deal with it world.
