Alright guys I think I am just gonna do Tris's point of view for awhile. It is kind of hard to do Tobias PoV.

I awoke to the smell of some form of food filling my nose. I smiled and sat up on the couch and saw Tobias on the other end of the couch. I smiled and he looked at me grinning. He pulled me next to him and engulfed me into a hug.

I smiled and relaxed into his arms. I was almost asleep again when my mom shouted from the kitchen, "Food is ready!" I groaned and rubbed the sleepiness from my eyes. And slowly stood up.

I walked into the kitchen and sat at the table next to Tobias. My mom sat a plate with pot roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I ate quickly and chugged a glass of cranberry juice. I grabbed my backpack and Tobias and went upstairs to my room.

"What are you doing?" he asks as I pulled him up the stairs.

"I don't even know." I said pulling him into my room.

"Let's do homework." he suggested. Not exactly what I had in mind to do. But hey as long as we are alone I'm up for anything. I dumped my book bag on the floor and grabbed the homework.

We studied and did homework for an hour. Then we ended up lying down on the bed. My head was resting in his shoulder. It was silent. But the silence was good.

"So your brother went home?" I asked breaking the quietness.

"Yeah, he went back to be with my mom," he said and I hinted at a bit of depression in his voice.

"What?" I asked.

"What do you mean 'what?'" he asks.

"Why did you sound sad, what's bothering you?"

"Nothing."

"Tobias Eaton you better tell me this minute."

"They are the only family I know and they live very far away from me." He said deep in thought. "I just miss having a good family, that's it."

There was silence.

"Tobias I can be your family. I know that I can't be the same as a real family. But I'll have to do for now." I said. For some odd reason I felt sad myself. He smiled softly down to me.

"Tris, you are perfect," he said softly kissing my head.

"You are too," I said smiling, sadness still in my mind though. I just don't know why. I should be happy. My enemy is gone. Tobias is here. And live is just good.

"Alright, I think you should get to your bed before my dad murders you," I said sitting up. He sat up too and looked at me for a long moment. Then leaned in and gave me a long, sweet, and meaningful kiss. Without saying a word he stood up and walked into his room next door.

I just laid back down on my bed and went deep in thought which never ends up being good. Why was I sad?

Then realization struck.

Tobias needed his real family right now more than ever. He needed his mom and brother. I can't keep him here away from them.

I had to let him go. If I really love him, I will have to let him leave.

Alright this story is finally going somewhere! Ugh. I don't want you guys to hate me. This is gonna make the story good. Maybe. Actually idk at this point. If Toby does leave he won't be gone long. Don't worry I'm not that mean.
