Chapter 1 "I'm Back"

Mei POV

"M-mei" a young looking blond haired girl said, emerald eyes teary, sparkling through the moonlight. Face blurry and vague.
"Y-yuzu" Mei mumbled softly as she tried to speak, but couldn't utter a word
"W-why, why would you leave me.You promised, you promised...." Yuzu said as she trembled to the ground hitting the cold hard pavement.
"Y-yuzu, I'm sorry..." Mei said, not wanting to look at the poor girl any longer. Fearing that she might change her mind.
"Sorry, sorry that's all you can come up with, after all that we've been through. Sorry that's all" Yuzu replied furiously beginning to be hysterical.
"I'm sorry Yuzu, but we can't.. I am engaged, don't make this anymore harder than it needs to be.." Mei replied sadly
"I undestand Mei, Goodbye..." Yuzu said "Goodbye Yuzu..." Mei walked away, not bothering to look at the woman she once loved.
"BANG!!" Mei turned around, but she wished she hadn't. And the sight she saw was horrifying, there stood Yuzu with a gun in her hand, bleeding badly in the upper left side of her chest, right next to her heart.
"YUZU!!!" Mei screamed, and immediately rushed to her aid, putting her hand on the wound, trying to stop the bleeding, but it was no use. Yuzu lost too much blood.
"HELP!!!, s-someone please help me..." Mei yelled.
"Yuzu, wait for me I'll find help."
"W-wait Mei d-don't leave me..." Yuzu replied, voice fading.
"B-but..."
"Please...."
Mei stayed there, cradling her lover's small and petite body. 5 minutes passed..
"Yuzu.. Yuzu.. YUZU!!!.. PLEASE WAKE UP!!....please you can't leave me.... please..... PLEASE!!.. Mei sobbed, her tears falling down.

Mei gasped and sat up panting heavily
She touched her cheeks, and felt tears flowing down on her skin, and onto the bed sheets.
That dream again..
She looked at the clock beside her bed
9 am,  I must have overslept..
She got out of the bed and turned the alarm off.
She fixed her bed and walked to the bathroom to take a shower and get herself ready.
She stepped out, grabbed her clothes wearing it. And spotted a little shiny object at the corner of the room.
Yuzu's Ring...
Mei grabbed the ring, putting it on. Once she was done, she stepped out of her room and went downstairs.
"Miss Aihara.." a girl approached her.
"What is it??"
"You have a visitor"
"Where?"
"Outside, Follow me miss." She followed the girl outside to be met by her childhood friend.
Himeko Momokino..
"Meimei.." Himeko replied softly, happy to see her childhood friend
"Himeko...What are you doing here??.." I thought you were in the States?."
"Aahhh.. The meeting ended up early than I expected, so I went back"
"Okay" Mei replied
Himeko sighed.
"What is it?..."
"N-nothing M-meimei..."
Mei arched her right eyebrow.
"Himeko..." Mei said with a threatening tone.
"Fine.. Udagawa~san finally signed your divorce papers, you are finally free Mei" Himeko replied.
Mei's Eyes widened upon hearing the news.
"R-really?" Mei stuttered.
"Yes" Himeko giggled seeing her friends reaction.
"T-thats good news"
"Indeed it is.."
Silence...
Himeko glanced at her friends face, full of happiness and hope.
"Meimei?"
"Yes?"
"Do you miss her?.."
Himeko may not have mentioned her name, but she knew exactly who she was referring to
"Yes.... it's my fault she left, my fault why mom is not happy anymore, my fault why she ran away without saying goodbye, my fault why her friends didn't see her anymore, because I hurt her.." Mei uttered, heart full of guilt.
Himeko hoping to cheer up her friend said "Nobody's blaming you Mei..
"I know, but I feel responsible
Silence..
"Did you regret what you did to inherit the academy?..."
"..............."
"I-i understand if yo-"  Mei cutted her off.
" I don't regret doing that.... What I regret is hurting her, when she has done nothing, but love me, but I can't do anything now. The damage has been done, the only thing that I can do now is hope for the future...and hope that we meet again...

*Somewhere in the skys of japan*
There's a woman sitting at the back of a black colored jet, the woman with her long shiny, brunette hair, and expensive looking designer clothes took a sip of her wine while crossing her legs.

"Are we there yet?.."

"Not yet Ma'am.." the pilot replied.

"Tell me when we land.."

"Of course, Miss Okogi.."

"Ahhh.. After 6 years, I'm finally back..
I look forward to seeing you again Mei..Fufufufu~
