PERSONALITY personality wise, youngsoo is not necessarily the nicest person out there. he's impulsive, manipulative, seeks entertainment constantly. he finds pleasure in other people's misery. heck, he even finds pleasure in pain itself, either his own pain or others. he's an insensitive, egotistical, nasty piece of shit and is proud to be one. he doesn't care about a lot of people, only really thinking about himself and his own needs. he likes to push at people's buttons, keep pulling at their strings until they snap and break.some might call him a sadist, but honestly, he'll gladly call that a compliment any time.

he might act like all of that, but he still have emotions. feelings aren't really his best forte, but he does still get them. at a young age, he wasn't taught on what any of those mean. so what did he do? he shut it all down. his brain shut down his feelings, only allowing rage and anger for a good amount of time during his child and teen years. even if he acts so high and mighty, so overconfident, he uses that to hide away his insecurities. he always needs reassurance. be it whether he's doing something alright, his appearance, or hell, even the way he does things like talking. he needs to know that he's doing alright. he needs to know that he's being good. he needs to know that he's doing alright. he craves those kinds of judgement because he didn't got them when he was young. so he guessed it carried through his teen years all the way to adulthood. youngsoo tends to think badly of himself whenever he's in one of his episodes, during these times, he'll start bugging people to tell him he's being a good boy.

youngsoo definitely likes attention. he wants it. he needs it. the male tends to piss people off to get some kind of pretty reaction out of them. well, they might snap at him, but at least he's given a small bit of their attention. he takes whatever he can, even if it's negative. heck, beat him up and he'll say thank you. he's that kind of touch starved.
