we were on stage waiting for the awards, I was holding gianinna's  hand and Sarah's hand as we waited for the placing for the teen duets. since Im new I really wanted first place or Abby would never trust me to do a duet again, I really loved the duet so I was hoping the judges would see the technique we had in the dance. ''and our second place duet teen division, the life behind bars (random dance company) and now for our first duet place teen division, domestic by brady and y/n.'' I was shocked and so happy we both jumped up and excepted the award, then when asked we yelled the Abby lee dance company into the mic this is my first win for the aldc and I was so happy. but then they started on the group awards ''and the second place group dance goes to my inner demons from the aldc'' oh no, Lilly gets up and takes the award and says the Abby lee dance company, but we all know that second is the first to loose in Abby's eyes

-time skip to the back stage dressing room-

y/n POV

I was removing my make up and everyone was just chatting, then Abby walks in as everyone turns their heads to her ''congratulations y/n and brady that dance was powerful and I could see the emotion in your eyes, y/n you proved to me that you can place In first I'm very proud of you, and brady those faces were great I really saw the emotion in your expressions. now the group dance, im very disappointed, I saw lazy turns people who were behind and Presley you messed up in the back that can really distract from the dance I never want to see that, I know aldc dancers and those weren't aldc dancer out there. get it together'' and with that she went off, brady looks at me and smiles, his smile is really nice, uh anyway I was so happy Abby was proud of my performance. whoa.

~the net week before pyramid~

y/n POV

Presley was on the floor stretching and lily was getting help with Sarah to do a trick, I get up and stretch brady was talking to gianinna, we all started to talk and joke around and then lily smiles '' your guys duet was really good'' I smile and hug her along with brady '' thanks lily'' I smile and sit, Presley stretches '' I still don't see why you get a solo the day you walk in'' I frown '' I believe she was just trying to test a new dancer pres.'' before she reply's Gianna comes and calls us to pyramid, it was all normal except their were 2 people at top of the pyramid it was my and brady, the mums didn't seem pleased but didn't say anything, then abby started giving out dances ''2 solos and 1 duet, first duet goes to brady and ophelai again this piece is challenging and I wanna make sure I haven't made a mistake bringing you, the dance is abou-'' but is interruteced my Ashley '' hold up you are giving the duet to your favorite and the new kid again, abby how is that fair?'' abby roller her eyes '' well if you think y/n shouldn't dance then ok, y/n sweetie '' I was hurt but water off a ducks back right i look at miss abby ''yes miss abby'' she points to the door ''you are finished for today you wont be in the duet or the group this week'' my mum was so confused she looked at miss abby '' excuse me why? my daughter did nothing its all ashleys fault'' i was hurt and i knew mum was as well, but yelling wont help. ''mum its ok, this will just give me practice time.'' i get up and hug miss abby and leave. atleast i wasn't off the team
