Chapter 1:Birth

Part 1: White door in the rain and a dream of a " _______"

_____: " There are doors that are locked, all you need is the right key but ever consider those doors like some questions that are better left locked and forgotten"
_____: "In an empty barren city this story started with a clash of swords over a simple question, over this question led this girl this thing to seek a door that is best left untouched"

Raining in the city cold and lifeless A person in a black coat and hood surrounded by strange creatures yellow eyes, shaped like tigers, with a scorpion's tail. This person pulls out a sword out of thin air white as snow but covered in black markings that are like scars from battle. Ahead was a door guarded by a boy wearing a black coat and blindfold, hair-like ash, barely 17, holding a black sword similar to this person, as this person removes the hood revealing to be a girl.

Girl:(Grabbing the necklace from her neck)"Why!!?"
Boy:(Pointing the sword at her) "Simply, you were never meant to----"
A bright light and a pink-haired girl pale as a ghost screaming as if someone was murdered and covered in sweat.
Girl:(Hands covering her face) "Not that stupid dream again"
She got up to open the curtain to a small town decorating for a festival and a shopkeeper notice her.
Shopkeeper: "Hey Lily!!!"
Lily: "Good Morning shopkeeper"
Shopkeeper: "Morning It's the middle of the day"
After some time to get ready, she put on her usual outfit blue dress with flower design and brown boots and bolted out her home passing the shopkeeper who handed her a doughnut and a bag of ice cream
Shopkeeper: "Good luck in practice"
Lily: "Thanks"
Running through a town that seems time is till always the sky with the color of blue and a hint of orange and the sun still on the horizon.
Lily:(Thinking) ("I'm late")
As Lily turn the corner she bumped into another girl blond hair in a red and white dress next to her was a boy with red hair a tank top and cargo pants.
Lily: "Hey guys"
Boy: "let me guess you overslept"
Lily: " yea sorry Lea"
Girl: "No worry at least you showed up"
Lea: " Eli don't go easy on her"
Eli: " why not at least she brought the ice cream and me the two wooden swords"
Lily: "Let me guess he forgot to set up a spot to practice"
Lea: "It slip alright"
Eli: "You're lucky we have the woods not enough space to practice but it's good for now"
As they walk and ate there popsicle Lea ask Lily a question
Lea: "Lily wondering where, how, why did you learn swordsmanship?"
Lily: "Good question"
Eli: " How's that a good question?"
Lily: " I don't remember where or why I learned how to fight with a sword"
Lily closed her eyes trying to remember but all she could think about was a line that bugged her
___: "Why do you have that _____"
She snapped out of the hypnotic state and saw Eli and Lea staring at her
Lily: "Why are you staring?
Lea: " Your left eye"
Eli: " Is crying"
As Eli pulled out a small mirror from her pocket and showed her reflection Lily saw her left eye was tearing up and felt a part of herself was hurting a dead sharp pain like someone stabbed her in her chest slowly pulling the dagger deeper in.
Lily:(Giving the mirror back to Eli) "Forget let's get going"
Lea: " You're sure it doesn't seem fine"
Eli: "Lea is right, it's not the first"
Lily:(Running ahead) We got to be prepared for the competition tomorrow

Part 2: City of Mirage

In front of a white door
???: "How is she"
As an old man in robes appeared behind of the ashen haired boy
Boy: "Still dreaming I say she has about twelve hours left before it's over"
???: "I think is better to speed it up go in and brag it out"
Boy: "It you mean the girl?"
???: "why bother she not even a human being besides we have an unwelcome guest"
The ashen haired boy enter the door with disgust and punching the door
Boy: "This is just wrong"
Next day in the town Lily walking to the town square looking for her friends and saw the decorations
Lily: "End of summer festival"
Breathing in the festivities and excited for the festival until she notice Lea and Eli and approach them Lily reaching to grab Eli she phased right
Lea: "Hey Eli want to check out the tournament"
Eli: "Sure it's pretty boring at the moment"
As Lea and Eli walked Lily tried one last time but could touch the theme and felt they're getting away from her and she is standing still in a road that constantly expanding to an abyss of emptiness. Staring at an empty street hands shaking in fear her mind running hundreds a mile per minute trying to understand the situation but couldn't
Lily:(Looking at her hands) "Why!?! What's happening to me?"
???: "It's simple your starting to wake up"
Lily then notice someone behind her and slowing walked back almost instinctively and the person dressed all in black wearing mask started to clap
???: "Never thought you could make a face like that"
Lily: "Who are you?"
As this person removes her mask revealing to be a girl with black hair and eyes cold and deep as an abyss but a voice that contradicts that, a voice that's kind and sweet yet sounded familiar to Lily
???: "It's me your best friend cinder"
Lily: "Cinder?"
Cinder: "So the reports was right thanks to this mirage of a town you lost your memory"
Lily: Mirage of a town? What lost memory I lived here for my entire life..."
Interrupting Lily
Cinder: "This is a dream an Illusion where you get to live out your dreams shame could have dreamed harder but a normal life typical of you"
Lily: "Stop acting like you know me"
Cinder: " But I do we are inside Pandora's Door the door of dream to be exact created by a man named World"(Pointing at Lily)" as for you your coming with me this rebellious phase of your ends here"
As the surrounding around them started to crumble and the town disappearing
Cinder: "That old man come on let's go"
Lily walking back in total fear
Cinder: " Lily! You're not leaving me with much of a choice here"
Raising her hands and the flames started to form around her shaping to a scythe Lily standing still in shocked
Cinder: "Sorry you're coming with me"
Before Cinder could do anything the floor she was standing on gave way and cinder fell to looks like an ocean of ones and zeroes. Before Lily moved she heard a voice behind her as she turns she saw a Boy with white hair pointing to a newly formed tower.
Lily: "Aren't you from.."
Boy: "Get going all your questions will be answered there look for an old man you'll know when you see him"
Lily: "why should..."
Boy:(interrupting Lily) "If you not desperate to die get a move on or else"
Cinder jump out of the sea of data and the boy blocked her scythe with a Crimson blade
Cinder: "Lily don't listen to him"
Boy: "Get going now"
Lily listen to the boy and ran straight to the tower at full speed seeing Lily running from a distance Cinder and begins to tighten the handle of her weapon
Cinder: "What did you bastards do to her?"
Boy:(Jumped away to get some distance) " I was thinking you were the calm and collected type"
Cinder:(calming herself and pointing her scythe at the boy) "Normally yes but you did something to my friend I like to know what, Sorry to do this you may be my type of guy but you'll die here"
Boy: "I wonder about that"
As they both begin to clash as the city begins to rip itself open from the aftershock
