Everytime I close my eyes
I see you with all these guys
You're living your life like you should
I'm here wishing that I could
I've tried finding love again
But I'm a sheep in the lion's den
All these guys are great with girls
They give sorrow, I give pearls
But they have all the looks
While I seem like I have the books
I'm not the kinda guy they want
I'll be at home while they flaunt
I just can't catch a break
Except my heart on a stake
Then it'll be broken in two
I don't know what to do
I have crushes but no dates
The only ones I can have rates
I won't trade love for money
When I'm kind, gentle, and funny
But who am I kidding?
All these guys here biding
I never stand a chance
I'd be lucky to get a glance
I stand here on the edge of insanity
Shouting every type of profanity
Wishing this world could change
Instead of always being strange
