Note: This is me experimenting with this and I decided to make this whole story one coversation with only a little bit of description. So please don't make comments about how there's too much dialogue, it's sort of practice on my dialogue-writing skills. So please keep those comments to yourself and just try to enjoy it.

“Oh fuck it.” He said.

“What?” She asked.

“Fuck it.” He said again.

“Fuck what?” She asked, still confused.

“You know.” He gestured quickly from himself to her.

“No, I don’t. We were talking and you just said that with no explanation.” She said.

“What do you think I was talking about?” He said.

“I don’t know!” She said, now yelling.

“Well what were we arguing about?” He asked, exasperated.

“I know what we were arguing about but I don’t know which you mean!” She said.

“Take a guess.” He said.

“No.” She said, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Why not.” He said.

“Because I don’t need to guess. You’re being irrational.” She said.

“I’m being irrational?” He said, his voice raising.

“Yes.” She said, calmly.

“No I’m not!” He said.

“The fact that you’re yelling says otherwise.” He glared at her.

“I’m not yelling.” He said.

“Not anymore.” She said, still calmly.

“But I’m still not yelling.” He said, tauntingly.

“A technicality.” She said, trying not to take the bait.

“But still true.” He said.

“Possibly.” She said.

“Definitely.” He said.

“Don’t flatter yourself.” She said, uncrossing her arms and taking a step towards him.

“I can if I want to.” He said, taking a step towards her.

“Not according to me.” She said.

“Good thing I don’t listen to you.” He said.

“Whatever. Do what you want.” She said, going to sit down on the couch.

“I will no matter if you tell me if I can or not.” He said, staying where he was.

“Great for you.” She said, not looking at him.

“I know it is.” He said.

“Does it look like I care?” She said, still not looking at him.

“Yes.” He said.

“Well I don’t.” She said, looking at him.

“It looks like you care very much.” He said.

“Well looks can be deceiving.” She said, not looking at him again.

“Yes they can be.” He said.

“Exactly.” She said.

“But they aren’t right now.” He said, quieter.
