Chapter 15

"Everybody up!" I heard a woman yell while I was still half asleep. "Wonderful children get your asses out of bed. Especially you Lina! You've missed two days of school!" Ah I recognized the voice now. It was my second mothers.

"Yes Mama!" I replied sitting up and stretching. Dexter mewed and burrowed deeper under the covers. "Lazy cat." I said getting out of bed. Grabbing my clothes I walked to the bathroom still asleep only to see Mike standing in there already.

"Hey." He said in a husky morning voice, pulling his lips into a half smile. I never noticed how sexy Mike could be, especially with bed head, no shirt, and pajama bottoms.

"Break it up you two. I can practically smell the sex already." Ashley pushed us away from each other and pulled me into the bathroom with her as Mike grew fifty shades of red and quickly walked away. I laughed and looked at Ash who was smiling sleepily. "I don't know what my mother was thinking letting two sex crazed teenagers who want each other sleep under the same roof."

"I am not sex crazed!" I said giggling.

"What peeve helps you sleep at night dear." She replied putting all of her make up out on the sink. We both started putting on our make up and idly chatted about this and that.

"Hurry up you two I have to take a major piss!" Mike's voice sounded on the other side of the door.

"Pee outside with the rest of the dogs!" Ashley replied applying her eyeliner.

"I swear to god Ashley-"

"Go ahead threaten me in front of your girlfriend/my best friend."

"Take your time ladies!" We laughed and about five minutes later finished out make up and exited the bathroom. Getting dressed in our room we walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning my lovely children." Mama gave Ashley and I a kiss on the head. I smiled and sat next to Mike at the breakfast table. "What is this I hear about sex crazed teenagers?" She asked sipping her morning coffee. Mike and I instantly turned red and looked down. She smirked and turned away. "You may think I'm a demented old bat but trust me, I hear and know about everything that goes on in my house." All three of us mumbled a 'yes ma'am' "Alright well you all better get going. Don't want to be late to school." We all jumped at the chance to leave the house after that embarrassing scene. Climbing into the backseat of the car Ashley and I laughed our asses off.

"It's not funny! She probably thinks I'm going to rape you now." Mike said pulling out of the driveway.

"It's not rape if she likes it Mike." Ashley stated looking out of the window.

"Shut up Ashley." I growled. She giggled. We pulled up into the schools parking lot. Something was going because the entire student body was buzzing. "What's going on?" I asked.

"I have no clue." Ash answered. We ignored it and grabbed our stuff, walking to first period. I sat in my usual seat and waited for the bell to signal that class has begun. As my teacher stood at the front as hush came over us.

"Now I'm sure you're all aware of what's happening but I'll repeat it out of necessity. A very important exchange student will be joining us from Romania." Conversations broke out all around the room. "Alright alright alright, settle down settle down." Just as he said this the door flew open. In stepped a boy around the age of 17 stepped into the room. All of the girls, except for me, gasped and widened their eyes. He was a little shorter than Alexander was but had the same jet black hair, only this boys was longer. He had deep brown eyes. He walked smoothly over to my teacher and whispered something to him. "Students this is our new student. Why don't you tell them a little about yourself?" He asked the new boy.

"Hi, my name is Bram." He smiled warmly at everyone and most of the girls swooned.

"Alright, since we're a little crowded you'll have to sit in the back. I hope you have decent eyesight."

"I have excellent eyes sir."

"Good, go ahead and take the empty desk behind Lina." All of the girls shot me nasty looks as Bram glided smoothly toward me. As soon as his eyes met mine I looked away feeling shy. Halfway through class I felt a light tap on my shoulder and heard a deep silky voice behind me.

"Hello Lina. I'm Bram."

"H-Hi." I replied hunching my shoulders. The rest of the period I could feel his eyes on the back of my head. As the bell rang I nearly jumped out of my desk which made all of my papers fall out of my binder. All of the kids laughed and walked out. I sighed and began to pick up my papers. As I reached for one a cold hand brushed mine. I looked up to see Bram picking up some of my things. "Thank you." I said putting everything in my backpack.

"Anything for a pretty lady." He smiled at me. I blushed and walked out followed by him. We chatted as I showed him to his next class. "Thank you Lina." He smiled as I pointed to his class.

"No problem." I smiled back. At lunchtime Mike, Ashley, and I sat at our usual table.

"I saw you talking to the new kid." Mike said an annoyed look on his face.

"Yeah he's nice." I replied. He frowned and looked at the cafeteria doors as Bram walked in. "You're not jealous are you?" I asked.

"Maybe." He replied. I laughed and ruffled his hair.

"Don't worry. He's just a friend." Mike smiled and started wolfing down his lunch. I watched as Bram looked for a place to sit, there really weren't any open tables and I frowned as his happy smile started drooping. "Over here Bram!" I yelled to him. Ashley and Mike looked at me like I was crazy. Bram smiled brightly and walked over sitting in front of me. I smiled back. "Bram, this is my best friend Ashley and my boyfriend Mike." I introduced both of them.

"Nice to meet both of you." He smiled at them in turn. It was quite awkward until Mike noticed a Batman pin Bram was wearing.

"You a DC fan?" Mike asked.

"Oh yeah. DC is way better than Marvel." Bram replied.

"My man!" Mike slapped Bram on the back and smiled. "This chicky over here loves Marvel and I'm quite ashamed." They both laughed.

"At least Marvel has hot villains!" I defended.

"Hey DC has some sexy villains." Bram replied.

"Oh sure. Every time I see Bane I just wanna melt." I said rolling my eyes. We all laughed and had a heated discussion on hot villains and comic books. It was the start of a beautiful friendship with the newcomer.
