"Don you seem a little zoned out brah you good?" Carter said to me across the table

"Yea I'm good" I have him a cheesy smile and looked down at my phone checking the time

Carter is cute and all but he's so full of himself not once did he ask about me unless it's him asking me if I'm okay when he notices I'm not paying attention to his life story.
