Kaminari Pov
I walked with Y/n along the beach. The sun was going down. Alright this is your chance Denki. Come on just ask her. I looked into her gorgeous eyes. My heart was leaping for joy at her. She did her cute giggle as her face blushed.

"Are you okay Denki?"

"Hmm yea. Just enjoying the view." I winked at her. She smiled and looked to the sky.

"Yea it's a beautiful night. It's pretty romantic in a way huh?"

She laughed I chuckled. I looked at her hand do I risk it? Ah why can't she get any of my clues... "Yea, but I wasn't talking about how the sky meets the ocean. I'm talking about-"

"Y/n Kaminari! Hey guys!"

Kirishima came running to us he was with Bakugou. Of course the one time I think something is going my way. Is it just not meant to be? No it's just bad timing right? "Hey Kiri... "

I sighed and shook my head. "Nah Y/n and I were just on a mid night stroll." She nodded and her cute face was all red. I giggled and admired her.

"What are you and Bakugou doing here?"

"Oooh haha you see him and I were going on a late night hike."

"Dont tell them that you idiot. They don't need to know shit."

Y/n and I laughed at Bakugou. Then I froze as Y/n brushed up against me. I felt her tail wrap around my leg. I blushed and started to lose it.

"Well it was great seeing you guys! Bakugou and I still have a long ways to go!"

Kirishima said as he and Bakugou left us. I sighed and looked to Y/n. "Are you trying to drive me crazy?!?"

"Hmmm? Oh sorry I'm feeling a bit sleepy."

She said with a yawn I smiled and stopped myself from pushing her hair back. "I would tell you to stay the night with me, but you and I know it won't end up well. After all I would like to live the rest of my life with you... I MEAN LIKE NOT DIE FROM YOUR FATHER!" Way to ruin everything Denki!

Then I heard her cute small laugh. I couldn't help but smile and cheer up.

"Trust me, I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't my father... I wish he would let me be with the guy I want to be with. Instead he's well..."

"He's doing what?" I said a bit concerned for her. We sat on a rock and she started to talk.

"He has been looking for a boyfriend for me. Just because he thinks I don't know what's best for me... He doesn't get I am in love!"

My eyes grew wide she is in love with someone? My heart shattered but I laughed it off. "Man a guy must be lucky to catch your heart."

Y/n Pov

I laughed little does he know it's him... "I wish I could be with you forever. I mean I... I can be me I'm so free and you being the idiot you are I can't help but laugh. I just want to run away... "My mom remember her?"

"Yea? Does she not approve who you Uh love?"

"No, she does but... She is quiet she never says a thing. Sometimes I wonder if I was only born to get this quirk I have... I'm nothing but a project."

"Y/n you are far from a project."

My heart raced as Denkis warm hand held mine. "Denki..."

"You are the most amazing girl I have ever met. To me you are that girl who makes the better Denki Kaminari come out! You are you, and maybe one day we can run away together!"

I smiled and couldn't help but lean on him. My other hand wrapped his stomach. "I would love that Denki..."

Kami Pov

She snuggled up to me. I didn't care about anything but just to comfort her. I had no idea her father was doing this to her. I feel awful, but I will make it up to her. All of a sudden her breaths were deep. She had fallen asleep on me...

I promise Y/n I will show your dad I'm worthy. If he doesn't see it, we will figure out something together... What are best friends for? Though... I would want to be more you love someone else...
