Looking luminous and refreshed, Amirah walked out of her house to the parking lot. It's been a week already since they came back from their vacation. She had decided to visit her family, then Neely's.

The sun was yet to risen the moment she reached the vestibule of their house. Amin had gone to work as early as the cock crowed, because he had a lot to do at the office. After coming back from their vacation, a ton of work greeted him and embraced him completely. He's hardly at home now, either in the office or warehouse until after ishai before before he'll come back home looking exhausted and worn like he was just coming from the farm.

It was a glorious morning with a mild air that mingled with the rays of rising sunlight. The morning glow glided over her skin bringing out a mahogany tinted glint. She radiated of blithe and salubriousness with a porcelain glow radiating from her skin.

One push at the sleeky door, she forced herself into the house. Everyone was in the sitting room except appa.

She greeted her mother and kept the bag of gift she had brought for them.

"Adda Amirah what did you bring for us?" Maryam questioned, looking searchingly at the bag with her eyes.

"I bought something for all of you, I made sure never to forget anyone." She untied her veil and flung on the sofa close to where she sat, then dragged the bag to her side and unbuckled.

"What did you buy for me, I can't wait to see." kabir that was sprawled on the carpeted floor said, surfing through his phone as he spoke with nonchalance.

Amirah brought out a pair of sneaker and hurled it toward kabir. "that's yours." kabir smiled and thanked her. She brought out two silky gowns, a bronze and scarlet. "Maryam pick the biggest size and give khadijah the other one."

Maryam collected the clothes with delight and gave a flighty smile. "Thank you adda Amirah."

"I'm losing patience." Sagir mouthed. He was sitting on the floor with his knees up to his neck, staring at the bag Amirah was fumbling with.

"Oh, I forgot to get you something." Amirah said, still trawling into the bag.

"You can never forget me even though I'm mostly invisible in your lives." Sagir said prosaically.

Amirah smiled. That's the matter of fact. No matter how invisible sagir is in their lives, he's still in their hearts. Sagir in such an introvert that finds it difficult to sit with people and relate socially. He seemed uncivilised when it comes to mingling with others, even his family. He's mostly in his room watching film or playing game.

"We can never forget you little bro." Amirah said as she handed him his gift, which he collected gladly and thanked her.

"Where's my own?" Ummu finally spoke. She had been patient all through looking at them.

Amirah smiled in the sunniest way. "ummu were expecting something too?"

"No," she shrugged. "But I thought you'll remember to bring something for me too."

Amirah smiled as she brought out the last package in the bag. "Exactly ummu, I'll never forget you because you're the first in my life. I knew you before I knew everyone. I've learnt to call your name before I knew anything." She handed her the package. "And I'll always remember you before I remember anyone."

Ummu gave an innocuous sneer then collected the package and unfolded it to check out the content. It was a set of perfume and a make up kit with expensive diamond-like jewelry box. "All these for me." She awed, a gentle smile tracing the curves of her mouth. "thank you so much dear."
