Mallawi, Egypt. As soon as their plane landed at mallawi airport, each of the trio yawned as they descended from the plane. The air that groans and rocked on their faces blending with the agonizing shrill rising from the crowd combustion had made them palely embraced their new ambience. The billows of cloudy haze above the dusky sky had set dimness to the ambiance. They couldn't get a direct plane from Devon to mallawi, so they took that of Cairo, and from Cairo airport they got the one to mallawi.
Husnah was already there with her brother to welcome them and take them home. After scowering after them among crowd of passengers, she squealed and stormed towards them excitedly, hugging each of them subsequently. They were all filled with a sense of excitement as they made their way to the car.
"Welcome to our humble town ladies!" Husnah exclaimed joyfully, leading then out of the crowd to where they parked their car.
"Is a nice town afterall." Hannah commented, adjusting the strap of her bag firmly on her shoulder as she walked behind Husnah.
"How did you know you just got here." Neelam snapped at her, and Amirah laughed at them.
"Don't you know, my sensitivity to recognise something is uncanny."
"That marks you a hobgoblin! Please don't eat our liver." neelam slurred, and Hannah rolled her eyes.
"Oh guys, I missed your dramas." Husnah that was pulling Hannah's trolley turned a little and blessed them with her smile.
"Don't worry soon, you'll have a whole cinema playing in your house." Amirah smiled quirkily.
They got into the car, the three of them at the back seat while husnah sat at the front with her younger brother whom she introduced to them as Abanoub.
When they finally arrived Husnah's house, the marigold glow of the sunset had already disappeared into the shadow of the night.
Husnah's house looked a bit minuscule among the swanky houses at their lane. It seems those poshest houses are glaring at their house for daring to being part of them.
"Marhabam! Ahlan wasahlan!" Husnah's mother Welcomed them with a warm smile, hugging each of them in a motherly way. "I've heard a lot about you from Husnah. Is so kind of you to come all the way from England to the wedding. Shukran jazeelan"
"Mama hope Husnah didn't tell you vile things about me?" Hannah chirped, and the woman looked at her.
"You must be Hannah then." The old woman grinned pleasantly, and Hannah gave husnah the look of 'I wil get you later for snitching on me'. And all others laughed at her, including husnah.
The buffet presented to them was spectacular as it's mostly Egyptian foods. There was koshari topped with chicpeas and onions, macaroni Béchamel with grilled beaf and offal with other English food. Kamila was their already.
"Husnah do you have extra room?" Hannah asked as she choke some koshari into her mouth, licking her lips succulently.
"What for?" Husnah looked marvelously at her.
"I was thinking of staying here for good."
All others on the table laughed including husnah's mother that was coming from the kitchen with a bowl of spiced chilli powder.
"Dear we'll love to have you here." Husnah's mother said smilingly, then dropped the chilli powder on the table for them. "In case if you need to add spicy pepper."
