The Story of My Gerbil's Lives...so Far Chapter 7

Darkness. I can barely see anything in here. At least the other gerbil is in here. We are huddled together and shaking because we don't know what is going to happen next. Then, suddenly we started moving. "Where are we going?" I said. Then, we heard something talking gibberish. Next we got into a vehicle of some sort. After the scary ride, we finally got to a place that smelled like the Upwalkers and the box that we were in was opened and we were placed into a much bigger box that had the top open. There was soft stuff on the floor that felt like clouds. Probably bedding. So I started walking around and digging in the bedding to make a borrow, assuming we would stay here for a while. The other gerbil was helping me as well. Then suddenly the Upwalker started talking gibberish again saying something about 'Chewy' as she touched the other gerbil and 'Midnight' as she was touching me. "So I guess I am Midnight, and you are Chewy?" I questioned out loud. " It suits you, " I said. "Yours does too," he said. Then the lights turned off so we went to bed happily dreaming about what awaits us tomorrow.
