A glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel wattys 2023

Shopping/gun fire/the girls

Logan Henderson was back in his hometown in Texas for a break from Hollywood and recording his next album as well cause he wanted to kick back and relax a little bit and forget about everything right now cause he had some performances coming up and he wanted to be as relax as he can right now

"I think I should get some more food in the house right now and get a few things to spruce the house up a little bit as well, and maybe I can find my vacation home when I do come home to Texas cause I should not be staying at my parents house anymore I should be on my own completely both in and out of Hollywood cause I'm 30 for crying out loud" he says as he was going to get up and see what houses were on the market as well cause he wanted to buy it and maybe sign on the dotted line as well and if he was lucky he could move in that day

Logan saw some houses that were vacant close to his neighborhood where he grew up at, and some of the houses were nice and some were not nice, and he was going to jump on the nice houses and he saw one that was the perfect size for him he could have a man cave, and have plenty of rooms for when his extended family came over as well. The house had a pool and a huge yard as well, and if he wanted to adopt a little one or more he had the room as well for them to run around and play when he brought them back home for a getaway as well cause he was getting older in life and he was not seeing anyone right now either it was perfect

"I think this is the house for me," he says as he was walking the house a little bit, and taking it all in as well cause it was the perfect home in his eyes and he can make it to how he wanted it as well cause it was too perfect not to pass up right now

"Okay I can have you sign the papers cause the house is sold as it is cause the owners were able to take most of the stuff with them when this house was taken from them a while back," the realtor says as she was walking with Logan

"Not a problem at all I love it here the fence is secluded which I like for privacy, and I can't see my neighbors and they can't see me which I love" he says as she was going to get the paperwork for Logan to sign so he could have the house and he could start shopping as well

"The fence is really high as well so no neighbors can spy on you at all," the realtor says to him as she got the paperwork

"Perfect," he says as he was going to sign his name on the pieces of paper, so he could have the house and the home of his dreams when he was back in Texas for the holidays or a getaway from Hollywood in general as well

Logan was on cloud nine as he was signing the papers as well cause he was able to have a house when he came home cause he was going to have an in-home record studio so he could still write music, and still relax as well. He could have family over for gatherings as well, and his cousins could stay over if they wanted to cause the house had plenty of rooms for everyone

Logan was going to get some new clothes and a few things for the new house as well before he was going to go back to California and get everything situated as well

"Okay I think I should hit the furniture store and get some furniture for the new house," he says as he was going to go to the furniture store to go shopping for a bit

Logan got some nice pieces for a good price before he was going to go shopping for new clothes and some groceries as well for his new house cause the electric company was going to turn the power back on to the house while he was gone

Logan was going to get the clothes first and he was going to get some groceries cause he was going to head back to California in a few days and he did not want anything to spoil while he was gone

"Okay I might as well get this over with," he says as he was going to get the shopping done

Logan decided to look at decorations for the house first then go from there for the house cause he wanted to make it his and his own as well and he found some nice stuff that he wanted to use in the house, so he purchased it

"Okay now onto clothes," he says as he was going to get some clothes that were going to stay at the house he didn't have to bring luggage when he traveled as well

As Logan was heading to the men's clothes part of the store he heard guns going off so he hid away from the gunfire that was happening around him as well cause he was scared on the inside as well he was hoping no children were in the store and they would get hit by the gunfire he laid low until the police came and took the gunmen

"I hope no children are here," he says as he was hiding still from the gunfire cause it was really loud and it was starting to fade away and by the loud of it the gunmen were staying away from the men section of the store

Once the gunfire stopped he went to see if there were any victims cause he was worried that there were victims from this whole thing and he was more worried if there were children hurt so he was going to continue to shop as he was going to look for victims and he was going to help them out. He hears a little girl crying, so he was going to see where she was and was going to help her out as well

"Hi sweetie," he says as he approaches her slowly not to scare her too bad

Logan sees her mother was taken down as she was looking at clothes and by the looks of things she was shot on the side of the head as well so she was dead in seconds

"Its okay mommy might make it," he says as he was going to see if there was help close by so the mother could get help, and see if there was still hope for her and he didn't think she was going to have hope of coming back from the dead as well

The mother was dead at the scene so the paramedics covered her as they took her away cause he stood with the mother until helped came to see if she was okay or not okay and she was not okay at all, and he told the paramedics he had the little girl cause the little girl checked out just fine not a scratch on her which was a blessing from above right now with the scene of events that were occurring right now around him and that was scary enough

"Come on then we have to look for others who are hurt just hide I can get you a blanket or something to hold," he says as he was looking at blankets that she could hold as they were looking for victims and survivors

The little girl nodded as she looked at him as they went through the store looking for survivors as well from this

Logan helped as many as he could while keeping the little girl calm as well cause she was really scared out of her mind right now and she wanted her mommy to come back and make it better for her and Logan knew that was not happening at all

"Little one come here," he says as he was picking her up to comfort her and make it better for the tine being until he got to his new home that was in the middle of nowhere

Logan hummed a tune and that helped a little bit so he went to sing the song and that worked wonders with her and she was settled back down and had her blanket with her so she was a happy camper right now

"I am going to have you face me," he says as he faces her towards him so she did not freak out at all as they were still shopping and looking for survivors from this whole ordeal

The little girl nods as she was looking at him cause she was really scared

"I might as well get you a car seat" he says as he was going to get another cart for the car seat and clothes for her so she was safe as he takes her home cause the mother looked like she was a single mother, and he didn't know if she had family to care for her either so he wanted her to be safe right now

She picked out her car seat and was happy with her picks and he heard a baby crying too
