I was currently on the phone with Shaun
Shaun:I'm finna come pick you up to get pizza
Me:Pick who up
Shaun:You nae nae (ever since he heard my little sister say that he calls me that)
Me:Don't call me that
Shaun:Why not I think it's cute
Me:only my sister can
Shaun:Okay naenae
Me:ugh by Shaun
Now I gotta find an outfit since he's coming to get me. oh yea I got a place after I move I'm cutting my mom off
Should I wear the overrawls or the jacket with a bra and bikershorts. yea the oversized jean jacked with sports bra and bikershorts is cute.
I put that on with a pair of Reebok's, a fanny pack and my sunglasses.
I heard the phone ringing so I answered
Shaun:I'm outside
Me:here I come
I walked outside and saw him in a nice bmw with rims
"This your car" I said as he opened the door for me
"Yea what you think a brother from the hood can't drive a bmw" He said I just shook my head and laughed
"What pizza place are we going to" I said
"Mario's pizza down on 52nd" He said I noticed the way he drived its like he drives with a chip on his shoulder when we were driving around the hood it wasn't like that but when we got to the hood/suburbs part he got a little tensed I guess cus of all the police
"You gonna keep staring at me or get out the car" He said opening his door
I just rushed out the car and into Mario's the lady gave us a seat and menus
"So tell me about yourself" He said
"There isn't really nothing I'm 21 I live with my mom but I'm going to move soon. That's it" I said
"Come on there's got to be more where you from" He said
"Queens but moved to Brooklyn when I was 15" I said
"Represent Queens She was raised outta Brooklyn" He said singing ll cool j
"Birthday" He said
"September 12th" I said
"Oh that's why you act like that your a Virgo" He said
"Where's your dad" He said
"When I was 3 my dad divorced my mom and married then moved to Philly he's really my everything and I love his wife plus they gave me siblings so I love them even more" I said
"Tell me about your mom" He said
"Well she became a alcoholic when I was 4 and ever since then I've seen her be beat and raped and I was raped by one of them and when I told her it was like she didn't care I still wonder why my dad never got custody but I just leave it alone" I said I looked at him and he was very interested in what I was saying
"My mom has always been unstable but I try my hardest to build a bond with her but I just can't but I know when she's old she's gonna need me so I stick around we argue almost everyday and she's stolen money from me, stole clothes and shoes" I said
"But each time I forgive her cus the Bible says thou shall not disrespect your parents so I just give her space" I said tearing up and before I noticed it the tear fell so Shaun wiped it
"What about you" I said
"Well not much my mama was a crackhead my dad never seen him and I was in and out of foster care since the age of 2" He said
"What was foster care like" I said
"It was rough I didn't know whether I would get beat or not eat it was like everyone only took me in for the money. I never had real love or was ever taught real love that's why I try not to fall into it but maybe one day I'll learn" He said
"Wow so we both had horrible child hoods" I said he just shook his head
"Here's your pizza" The waitress said
We ate and talked a little bit more about our personal lives.
"Now where are we going" I said as we walked out to the car
"I wanna show you something" He said starting the car up. We drove around for a while until we pulled up to this office building
"What's this" I said
"You'll see" He said opening my door. we walked up to the door and went inside.
"Shaun Wilson" He said to the security guard
We got on the elevator and when we got off we went inside but it was a studio apartment but it had like a radio show type set up
"Your a radio host" I asked
"Yea plus I live here" He said pointing over to a big king size bed
"I just came here to pick up a few things then we'll be out" He said
"Are you looking for somewhere to move your radio station too" I said
"Eventually Yea But right now I'm good" He said walking to the elevator pushing the button
We got on and waited to go down
"Aight man leave the key by your desk" He said to the guard
"How long you've been living here" I said
"2 years" He said
15 mins later
" I had fun tonight" I said walking up the steps
"Me too" He said while I unlocked the door
"Let's do this again" I said
"Okay I'll take you to my favorite jazz club" He said never listened to jazz a day in my life
"Okay just call me" I said
"Aight" He said going to his car
I walked inside and nobody was home which was good cus I just want to sleep. I cleaned up the mess my mom made and then took a shower and went to bed.
