A day will come,
Your sun will set
And your world
will be enveloped
in eternal darkness.
All you would want to do
Is to lie down, and sleep.
Your body craving rest
For the weariness
Of your soul.
The moon won't be there
For it will be
engulfed by clouds,
Removing your
only source of light.
But never fear
For you will see that
Millions like you
Are out there
Facing their own battles
In an inky sky that is
Determined to swallow their brilliance,
But worry not
For stars shine the brightest
In the darkest of hours.
