Chapter 3: "I will protect you, master"

Because i'm impatient, ive decided upon adding a character to the crossover, that being the Fusion of Ragna and ryuko: Rayn and i've decided she'd be someone who you save and in saving her, She decides to follow you loyally, hopefully you guys love the idea

Y/n PoV

"Somebody help!" a female voice pierces the air, and i look around before sprinting in the direction it came from. I almost run past the alley the voice came from, and when a gun is shot i make an immediate sharp turn into the alley. 

"knock it the fuck off!" shouting at the top of my lungs, i practically steamroll a man, knocking him off the girl. "Are you o- OH FUCK!" I see the bullet hole, knowing it would end her life slowly and excruciatingly painfully, so i grab a "flyer" and press it to her wound, but instead of making a magic circle, a queen chess piece forms in my hand, shrugging i mutter what rias had said she had to say when resurrecting me, and to my surprise, the queen piece sunk into the girls chest. "What the... well whatever... i need to take out the trash before leaving..." i slowly stand and smile, readying my sacred gear.

"You piece of shit!" the man shouts at me, fallen angel wings appearing from his back. "now i have to take your ass out too? I was supposed to take that bitch out because she'll be a threat if i hadn't" The man makes a light spear, getting ready to throw it at me, and once he throws it, i activate my sacred gear.

"Hollow Protector!" Shouting the personas name, the Hollowed protector appears behind me and screams, the scream shattering the light spear with ease. I chuckle at his immediate fear upon seeing the light spear shattering.

"W-what the hell?!" The man fearfully backs up against the wall, afraid for his life. I look back at the Protector, who's looking at me, practically begging to end the fallen angel. 

"Fine, since you had behaved the last time i summoned you, go ahead." I say to the persona,  the protector lets out a growl of appreciation before he throws his sword like a spear, the sword going through the mans heart, ending his life immediately. "Good job Protector" i nod to the satisfied persona, who nods his goodbye for now before both him and his sword fade from the real world. "now to carry the girl home so rias can help her..." turning around, i walk back to the unconscious woman, and pick her up, holding her like a groom holds a bride.

Timeskip to carrying rayn home
Authors PoV

You felt a change happen in your body, after the queen chess piece sunk into the woman's body, you felt stronger. You kick the door as a form of knocking, and not a minute passes when rias opens the door, the smile on her face disappearing instantly, to be replaced with a look of worry and concern. 

"Is she ok? What happened to her?" Walking past Rias, Y/n slowly lays the woman down on the couch becore turning to Rias. You sigh, getting yourself mentally ready to explain what had happened while you were out of the house. 

"She was attacked by a fallen angel, and when i tried to use the flyer to summon you, it turned into a queen chess piece, what does that mean?" You say, and upon hearing the flyer turned into a chess piece, Rias pales as she stares at you.

Y/n PoV

"A-are you sure it turned into a queen piece?" Rias asks, and as a response, i nod as I look at the woman before looking back to rias. Isn't that what usually happens? If not, what does it usually do...

"i thought that always happened after you were summoned so i thought nothing of it, and said what you told me you had said when you ressurected me." I notice Rias get paler than when she hear the flyer turn into a queen piece. 

"Impossible... but how..." Rias mumbles, and I raise an eyebrow in curiosity to what the crimson haired woman is mumbling. "he just became a member of my peerage... is his... Sacred gear that strong he formed a queen piece...?"
