Chapter 8: Putting down the pheonix

Alright, so i suddenly remembered there's this WONDERFUL creature called Riser, and after mulling over it, i hatched one hell of a sadistic plan~ I know im not going to get the Rating game scene right, so y'know what, fuck it! im winging this shit! And also, yes i'm going to timeskip to after the birth after first helping rias, even when she doesn't necessarily need it at that moment, also your baby will indeed look like Ruby Rose, but specifically her hair, with the primary black with red tips

Your PoV

I walk into the living room with a bucket in one hand, and in the other a couple of sandwiches Rias asked for. Smiling lovingly, I set the bucket on the ground close to her, before giving Rias her food.

"T-Thanks sweetie, I know I should've done it myself, but it makes me happy that you care this much-" Rias starts to say when I kiss her, silencing her.

I break the kiss, and look into her eyes. "Don't say that, because you and i both know that i'll need to be at your every beck and call in a month, so don't worry about this, i'm happpy to help~" I smile, kissing Rias's forehead before sitting down next to her. Rias begins scrambling for the bucket, and i lean down and hand it to her just in time, once she expells whatever she had in her stomach, she scarfs down her sandwiches.

Timeskip to after Rias gave birth

Smiling, i kiss Rias on the cheek, whispering into her ear. "you did a good job sweetheart, why don't you rest, i'll hold Summer, alright?" I smile and carefully take Summer from Rias after she finishes breastfeeding.

I hear Rias mumble something inaudible, and i look at her "What did you say my love?" i tilt my head as i ask, smiling.

"T-thank you for... taking responsibility for our mis-no... our blessing... i'd have broken down if you didnt..." Rias whimpers out, and i can see tears forming in her eyes, so i sit in her hospital bed with her before kissing her tears away.

"had i never fallen in love with you, i might have left, but your just too amazing~" I whisper, my cheeks visibly reddening before me and rias hear a soft knocking. "Spinel? you can come in if you want" i answer to the presence on the other side of the door.

"H-how's the little hum-err... baby doing?" She blushes at her mistake, and i laugh softly, waving her closer.

"Come look if your so curious, she won't bite... err, well she cant technically 'bite', she has no teeth yet" I chuckle, and once spinels closer, she freezes up, her hand on my shoulder as she memorizes Summers facial features, before looking at Rias, matching certain matching features before looking at my face, doing the same for me.

"Good news is she won't have your Rbf, Y/n" Spinel giggles, and i make a fake hurt sound in response, my hand over my heart.

"ow, cmon is it that scary?" I look to Rias who shakes her head before wiggling her eyebrows telling me its something else to her, making me blush. "Th-thanks rias, A-anyways would it be alright if Spinel held Summer?" Spinel squeaks loudly from being put on the spot, waking Summer up and all three of use wince, waiting for the baby to start wailing grumpily.

"Wh-why isn't she crying Y/n?" Rias's maternal instincts makes her begin freaking out until we look to see Spinel holding summer, her elasticity coming in handy as she forms her pointer finger into a pacifier.

"Oh, i can still use that ability... awesome..." Spinel lets Summer grab the Pacifier shaped finger and puts it in her mouth before giggling smiling at Spinel.

"Gee Spinel, didnt tell us you were good with kids" I tease spinel, causing her to panic about something before giving Summer an actual pacifier, and spinel hands her over to Rias before pulling me off the bed. "Wh-whoa, hey be careful!"

"We'll be right back Rias, i need to talk to Y/n!" Spinel announces as she drags me out of the room, then out of the hospital and to a baby store, making me laugh.

"Your going to be her favorite aunt, you realize that spinel?" I chuckle, making Spinel freeze in place, nodding slowly as she grabbed the essential items, baby proofing kit, Milk bottles, Formula, Diapers, a rattle, a couple of pacifiers, and two onsies, one saying daddies girl, and one saying mommies princess.

"Dang, for someone who knows next to nothing about humanity, you grabbed the right items, you sure you never did this before?" I ask curiously, spinel nodding whilst looking around.

"i just grabbed what seemed important and smart to grab, i got everything so lets go" Spinel walks to checkout and pays for it, but i grab the bag, despite spinels protests.

Timeskip to the hospital

"Y'know if i didn't know better Spinel, i'd say you'd be a wonderful mother, considering how worried you were about my little girl~" i chuckle, earning a whimper from spinel.

"Dont say-" Spinel starts, but presses her ear up against Rias's door, a look of confusion on her face before we walk in.

"Do you have any idea what you've done Miss Rias? He'll go back on the deal for this, he told you his rules and you disobeyed" A female voice scolds Rias.

"And what the hell do you think you're doing?" I growl at the woman, glaring at her in pure fury. "Last time i checked, the only people who Rias wanted in her hospital room was ME and Spinel"

"And who are you? Because as i look at you, you look and sound Irrelevant" The woman sighs, turning to Rias. "Riser will be here for you soon, so be ready when he gets here, and make sure the male here forgets he saw me, he's not important in your life, understand?"

"Don't tal-" i start but the woman teleports away.
