Chapter 16

Kaylen P.O.V

I sat down in the waiting room bouncing my leg up and down as I waited nervously. It has been 4 hours since I came to the hospital for La'Nya and they still didn't give me any updates on her

"Kaylen she'll be okay, she been through a lot since she was 15. She's going to fight this through" Jada said as she grabbed my hand

I sighed

"Daddy is Mommy dead" Nyny asked me with a sad look on her face

I picked her up and sat her on my lap

"No Princess. Mommy is doing just fine" I told her

She nodded her head and laid her head on my chest

4 hours later

"Family of La'Nya Brown" the doctor called out

Me and everyone else got up and walked up to him

"She's stable. She's lucky that she's still alive. She did lose a lot of blood, so she need her rest..... but the stabbing did mess her stomach up to where she can't have kids anymore" he said

I sigh in relief that she is still alive but sad that I cant have kids with her anymore

"Can she have visitors" I asked

"Yes, three people at a time.. room 222" he said

"Here take your kids. I'll stay with mine..... go check on your girl" Jada said handing me a sleeping Marcus

I nodded my head and grabbed Nyny hand and went to La'Nya's room.

I walked in her room and seen her sleeping peacefully on the bed

"Mommy" Nyny said excitingly as she walked over to the bed

I grabbed a chair and pulled it up to the bed. As I put Marcus in my lap I grabbed La'Nya hand and started praying

"Lord, I just want to thank you for giving La'Nya another chance to live... if she would've died today I don't think I would ever be happy again, or feel loved again........ In jesus name I pray. Amen" I said then looked up at La'Nya

"I love you Kaylen" La'Nya said weakly

I started smiling

"I love you too, I'll always love you La'Nya" I said smiling

She smiled weakly then went back to sleep.

I'm so happy I finally got my family back

2 YEARS LATER!!!!

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride." The priest said

I looked at La'Nya and pulled her close to me and passionately kissed her. Everyone in the church house cheered.

"We're finally married" La'Nya said excitingly

We both walked out the church house together and got in a limbo that says bitches we married on the back.

We got in and the car pulled off to the after party.

For the past two years La'Nya and I grew stronger. We take care of our kids good. Me and Keke even got cool and started co parenting Kailey properly........ Unfortunately Nina didn't die when she had the fall but she is in a prison 32 hours away from us, and to come and find out she wasn't even pregnant. The Bryson dude is in prison too for life because he actually broke out of prison the first time.

But me and La'Nya got engaged 4 months ago and had our wedding on her birthday

"24 look good on me bae" La'Nya said as she took pictures in her phone as we rode in the limbo

"It sure do" I said as I kissed on her neck

She giggled. The limbo stopped at our destination, we got out and went into the building and everyone was already here

La'Nya P.O.V

"MOMMY AND DADDY" we heard Nyny and Marcus yelled

"My beautiful kids" I said as I hugged both of them

"Finally yall married, it took yall years" Jada said coming up to us

"How's the kids" I asked her

"They're good, they with Zee right now. At the table.... but congratulations yall" she said then gave us both a hug

Keke and Kailey walked up to us and gave us both a hug

"Hey pumpkin" Kaylen said to Kailey as he picked her up

"Hey daddy" she said smiling

"Bitch your married now. It's time to get fucked up" Keke said to me

They started playing music and people were turning up. We put all the kids in a play area so the grownups can get really turnt

"Come here baby" Kaylen said as he grabbed my hand

I had a huge smile on my face

"I love you so much" he said

"I love you so much too" I said

We gave each other a kiss.

Everyone had a good time. I finally got my family, I wish my mother was here but she watching over me with a big smile on her face.... I'm just happy to say that I'm glad being married to Kaylen was my FINAL DECISION.
