Chapter 17

Vanessa P.O.V

okay just run in your office and your out of the clearing
I thought to myself as I looked at the elevator numbers counting up to my floor

3...4..5!

Suddenly the door beeped open and ran right out toward my office. I quickly open the door, got in and closed it shut

"I made it.." I breathed as I leaned against my door

KNOCK KNOCK

"Ahhh!" I said as I jumped back off the door

"Vanessa? are you okay?" Rick said from the other side of the door

Then I quickly got back up and opened the door

"Rick! hey how are you! what's..uh..whats up?" I said as I poked my head out the door

"Uh...Well just going to remind you if you already have the sales charts on the concert and what's up with you?" Rick said looking at my messy hair and jittery eyes

" Oh me nothing absolutely nothing everything just peachy" I said as i flashed a smile

"Well just wanted to remind you....Oh and i almost forgot! How's Mika's album coming along?"

"Mika's album?......Oh! yeah it's coming along just fine almost done actually"

" Great well keep up the good work!" Rick said as he walked off

i closed the door and plopped right in my wheelchair and rested my head on my desk

Ugh....I totally forgot about Mika's new album! I just have to much going on this moment

"But..." I said as i pushed myself up and sat up straight.

"I girls gotta do what a girls gotta do"

i scooted toward my desk and flipped open my laptop and started working

See I'm the best at my job and when i put my mind on something I'm unstoppable

I blazed through papers and my fingers on fire as i typed on the keyboard.

Then...Ding! as the elevator opened

"Hey! Hello! Good morning!'

"Good morning Mika!"

"whats Mika doing on this floor?!"

"Wait lets not panic! there's tons of reasons he might be on this floor....Right?"

Then i heard footsteps walking down the hallway

with each footstep my heart beat-ed faster then they got closer and closer tell there were right in front of my door!

The handle of door started to turn......

"Hey Vannes....sa?" Mika said as he looked around the room

"Uh Vanessa you in here?"

"Guess she's not here" Mika said as he walked out

"huh...That was a close one" I said as i got up from under my desk

and my faced was blocked by a bouquet of FLOWERS!

"Aww he bought me flowers...." i said as i picked the flowers and smelled them

and they smell amazing....

"Oh he's good" i said as i put the flowers down

The day went by pretty fast maybe a little to fast
