"Hopefully not. Your safe with me." I said to AJ.

We arrived at home. The girls went upstairs to play.I sat on the couch and Nick sat next to me.
"How did it go?" Nick asked.
"Not good, she wasn't okay with AJ calling Dani her sister, she got so mad. I got so mad I yelled at her not to hurt my daughter, Nick, I think we should become AJs guardian. She's probably want to change her name too." I said.
"I'm 100% on board with this idea, text your mo-" Nick paused as my phone buzzed.

"Really?" She started to cry.
"Yes babygirl!" I said as she cried.

*** The Next Day
Christinas POV
7:00 am
We all were awake and we went to the court house.
"Welcome to the adoption hearing for Anjelica Mackenzie , last name of Cimorelli" The judge spoke. I looked at Nick.
"Before we begin would Anjelica like to change her name?" The judge asked.
"Yes, she would like to change her name to Mackenzie Quinn Cimorelli." Christina said.
"Okay then I am Justin Bravo, Clerk of Superior Court of Nashville County, Judicial District of Nashville and today we are having a ceremony to celebrate the final
Decree of Adoption for Mackenzie Quinn Cimorelli. Adoption is one of the happy things that a court gets to do. Adoption means that the court decrees that a child has become part of a new family. Adoption means that Christina and Nick are the forever parents for Mackenzie. The adoption of these children was made final on April 25,2014 Finalizing an adoption means that Christina and Nick filed legal papers in the courthouse. These legal papers said that Christina and Nick wanted to make Mackenzie apart of their family. Christina and Nick wanted to take on the responsibility of being the parents to Mackenzie , which is a very serious responsibility. It means that Christina and Nick promised the court that they would be the father and
mother to these fine young children for the rest of their lives. Christina and Nicks will make sure that they will have a place to live, food to eat, a church to belong to, and clothes to wear until they all grow up and are able to live on their own. By taking on the responsibility of being a parent to these children; Christina and Nick promises that they will make sure that they attend school as long as necessary, and they will teach them what they need to know in order to grow up into good citizens. As the old saying goes: "Train up a child in the way they should go; and when they are old, they will not depart from it."
Before these children moved into the Cimorelli home, social workers made sure that Christina and Nick would be a good growing‐up parents for them. They made sure that they had the support of their family
and friends, some of whom are here with us today to share in this
celebration. After the Nashville. County Department of Social Services decided that they would make a good forever mothers for Mackenzie, and after they completed a lot of paperwork, they moved into their home. Once they moved into their forever home, the court said that there had to be a waiting period to give Christina and Nick a chance to think over this big, important step that they were taking. The court needed to be sure that Christina and Nick wanted to make the commitment of being parents to Mackenzie for the rest of their lives. By signing papers, Christina and Nick let the court know that they were ready to make the commitment of being the parents to these children, and so the court issued the final Decree of Adoption. Being an adoptive family does not mean that parents and children will always get along with each other. Sometimes the child will be upset with the parents, and sometimes the parents will be upset with the child. But they will always love each other unconditionally. Being an adoptive family does not mean that Mackenzie have to stop caring about their birth family. But adoption does mean that Christina ,Nick , Mackenzie will stay together as a family through good times and through bad times.
Congratulations to the Cimorelli family Mackenzie Quinn Cimorelli!" The judge announced. We all walked out and hugged.
"Let's go home." I said, as we all got in the car and drove home.
***"I love you mom and dad." Mackenzie said.
"We love you to Mackie." We said.
