4. jaeyong is missing

"can we go outside?" taeyong spoke in jaehyun's ear, trying to talk over the booming music. jaehyun shivered when the soft lips brushed his ear and he felt them turn red in embarrassment.

"cute." taeyong giggled, still very close to his face. jaehyun couldn't help but grin despite the joke being at his expense.

"lets go." he smiled, interlacing their fingers before leading his date to the glowing exit sign.

the boys stepped into the cool night air, the breeze felt amazing against taeyong's hot skin, "there were too many people in there. everyone kept bumping into me." he complained, swinging their hands as they walked.

"i rather have you to myself." jaehyun spoke, ignoring his own blush.

"and i'll have you all to myself?"

"you already do."

taeyong stopped abrutly, adorable smile making his eyes crinkle, "lets go on a date, jaehyunnie."

jaehyun tried not to freak out over taeyong giving him a nickname, "i thought we were on a date?"

"a real date! not in a gross night club."

"you really don't like partying do you?"

"nope! so, will you go on a date with me, jaehyun?"

"i would love to hyung. i will take you to the nicest gas station in all of seoul."

the guys can't find taeyong and yuta is the first to freak out (amongst his breakdown  he threatens to burn down the building, johnny has no ideal how that will help.)

the japanese boy is close to tears while ten is in a full blown panic, which is rare sense nothing tends to bother him. johnny is taking deep breaths and trying to stop ten from attacking him.

"where is my baby? johnny hyung who did you set him up with? this is your fault!"

"calm down, handsome. jaehyun is a nice guy, i promise. and you know if anyone hurts taeyong i'll kill him." johnny soothed, strong arms wrapping around his boyfriend.

"how can you kill him when we can't find him." yuta wailed. sicheng winced as he awkwardly patted yuta's head. that seemed to make the older boy content as he sniffled, leaning his head on sicheng's shoulder.

the boys walked into the gas station, taeyong draped in jaehyun's leather jacket. it smelt like cologne and taeyong tried to inhale the scent without looking like a creep.

taeyong's narrow frame made the jacket look oversized, his hands completely covered by the sleeves. jaehyun found it absolutely precious and couldn't help but stare at him.

the clerk looked up at them and flashed an innocent grin. jaehyun couldn't fathom why anyone would look so happy to be working at midnight but the boy seemed sweet.

"i want chocolate milk." taeyong spoke, a determined look on his face. jaehyun felt his heart melt, of course he drinks chocolate milk. he's the most adorable boy in the world.

jaehyun decided to look at snacks, suddenly craving some sweets. taeyong grabbed his milk and decided to check his phone. he hasn't even touched it since he left the club.

he had spoke to jaehyun the entire walk; going from favorite colors to if aliens exist (taeyong thinks probably but definitely believes in mermaids.)

"oh. my. gosh." taeyong spoke slolwy, mouth open in shock. "what's wrong?" jaehyun asked, eyes full of worry.

"im so dead. well you're more dead but still, this is bad." taeyong sighed. "hyung, why are we dead?" jaehyun whined, getting impatient.

taeyong simply passed over his phone, a blank look on his face. jaehyun's eyebrows shot up as he scanned over the bright screen: 30 new messages, 20 missed calls.

"look at some of the messages." taeyong sighed, jaehyun pouted in worry as he clicked on the text icon. he didn't read them all but some caught his eye:

answer or im breaking jaehyun's legs

from: tenny🌹
honey are you ok?? i blame johnny for all of this

from: yukuri🤩
bitch im c r y i n g

from: sicheng🧸
where are you?? im worried and yuta hyung is embarrassing

"holy shit, im so dead." jaehyun groaned, shutting his eyes and rubbing his forehead in stress. he felt taeyong take back his phone and pat his shoulder in comfort.
