Stark's hosting a fancy masquerade ball, but the fun part is that he's had Thor place an Asgardian enchantment on everyone's masks so that everyone's identity is 100% concealed until you take off your masks! Everyone has also been given a fake name for the event and you're not allowed to reveal your identity until the end of the evening, when everyone will remove their masks and you'll see who you've been talking to all night!
Throughout the event you must act formal and follow etiquette as best you know how. This includes bows and curtseys, formal titles (lady, lord, etc) and the like. How do you fare and who do you talk to?
