MIKE:
- you had been best friends since birth so you hung around mike a lot
- nancy and his parents were out one night and you and the guys were over playing d&d
- you saw holly waiting at the top of the stairs for someone to play with her so you went upstairs and into her room with her to play with some dolls
- mike noticed you disappeared so he went looking for you
- when he found you playing with holly, your smile bright and your y/e/c eyes shining he couldn't help but realize how much he loved you
- "she's so beautiful, i love her" or "he's so handsome, i love him"

WILL:
- will went missing and you would not stop searching at all
- you literally searched day and night, sometimes with the boys and sometimes not
- when will came back from the upside down, he realized that he loved you when you cried to him telling you how worried you were and how much you missed him

LUCAS:
- lucas realized that he loved you the moment he saw you
- you were new in hawkins
- troy and james were bullying the four boys and you saw it

- the only thing he could think was, "she/he's amazing. wow."

MAX:
- max realized she loved you when you were beating mike's pac-man high score in the arcade
- mike was nervous in the background while the rest of the gang was cheering you on
- as you focused on the game max noticed how beautiful you were
- she realized that she loved you
- mike went over to her and said, "you know, just this once, i'll be your wing man."
- "how'd you know?" she asked him
- "i can see the way you look at her/him. you're definitely in love."

ELEVEN:
- el realized that she loved you when you were just biking around town
- she was hanging out with you, max and the boys
- she couldn't help but notice how effortlessly your hair flowed in the wind, and how your eyes lit up every time someone did something funny

JONATHAN:
- jonathan realized that he loved you when he saw you at the snowball
- you were both helping out with the event
- he saw you talking to will and how both his little brother and you seemed genuinely happy to be talking to each other

- he had seen you around school but he had never really gotten to know you
- he introduced himself to you that night and you guys instantly became friends

STEVE:
- steve realized that he loved you when you helped him look after the kids one night
- he was having a particularly rough night so you decided to help him
- you were serious with the kids when need be but you also allowed them to have fun
- steve saw how good you were with kids and literally INSTANTLY fell in love

NANCY:
- you two worked at the hawkins post together
- you helped her with the food and drinks and all that stuff
- one time when she got an order wrong bruce began making fun of her for it
- you stuck up for her and put him into his place
- she couldn't get you out of her head after that

ROBIN:
- robin realized she loved you on your guys first date
- you were in the movie theater watching back to the future when she noticed how concentrated and in awe you were of the movie
- she thought you looked so amazing and instantly fell in love
