In the centre of London was a candle factory,
Which contained a load of wax.
One day it made something extraordinary,
A young boy, by the name of Max.
It wasn't long before the news got out
About the marvellous creation.
Word spread around the world
Bringing people from every nation.
Millions of people came to the factory
Some shouting "go back to the circus".
Not knowing that he actually had feelings,
And knew they were mean on purpose.
He was the highlight of the factory
As he was kept on show,
Until one day,
He decided to go,
He pushed open his display with a BANG and a BUMP
Causing quite a fright!
But there was warm affection in the air
And it truly was love at first sight.
He said "I'm sorry
But i have to be free
Please young lady
Will you help me?"
She did straight away
Even though he wasn't real
But it couldn't be helped
The love she did feel
They spoke about everything,
He could see she was sad,
After letting her know
The traumatic life he had had.
The laughing, the pointing
The being called "freak"
He'd escaped from the factory
At last he could sleep!
But he didn't escape
People wanted him dead
They went to his house
Set it on fire, then fled.
It happened so quickly
And was something he felt,
Max was dying
As he started to melt.
His true love was there
And collected the wax
As she never wanted
To be without Max.
She put the wax back together
And found it easier to handle
For now her Max was back
In the form of a candle
The candle stayed lit
It was her eternal flame
So Max stayed with her
And their love remained the same.
