THE VOID

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕤𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕖𝕟

{The next day - 3am}

((Hero pulls himself out from under Josephine, putting his hoodie over his head. He's still a little intoxicated, his head feeling heavy. He plants a small kiss on Josephine's forehead before exiting. He sneaks past a passed out Jack on the sofa and leaves. He decides to leave his car and orders an Uber. Arriving home around 45 minutes later he heads for the kitchen to get some water))

Felix: "Where have you been?" ((He asks with a fake scolding attitude))

Hero: "Long story, can we talk about it tomorrow?" ((He grabs a bottle of water from the fridge and downs almost the whole bottle))

Felix: "Sure, I'm holding you to that" ((he adds))

Hero: "Hmm" ((he mutters leaving the kitchen and heading for bed))

Felix: ((stays in the kitchen a little while longer, sipping on a cup of Green Tea. Sleep not being on his mind at the moment))

Hero: ((collapses on the bed, but his mind is running over the last hours of the night trying to recall what actually happened. The images running through his mind are blurry and after a while he is asleep))

((Josephine wakes up, her only thought that she is in hell. Her eyes sting when they try to open and focus on her surroundings. She rolls over to reach for Hero, but the bed is empty. She peels herself up from the sweat stained sheets, she's gags a little. It's not just a gag though, and the next thing she knows she's running towards her bathroom. The toilet now full of vomit, she lifts her head up regretting every drink from the night before. She can't breathe through her mouth as it makes her want to be sick but also can't breathe through her nose due to the smell. She sits there for a few minutes before deciding she's done, emptying her stomach. She flushes away the evidence of the night before and stands to brush her teeth. After that is done, she jumps in a quick shower))

Jack: "Do you?" ((He asks a very disoriented Mel))

Mel: "The movie finished. Then we decided to play beer pong?" ((She asks not sure if she's just making the whole thing up in her mind))

Jack: "I remember the movie finishing. I don't think we played beer pong though" ((he stumbles a little and falls back to the sofa))

Mel: "Poker?" ((She throws him a bottle of water))

Jack: "No I'd remember that" ((he insists)) "Ring of fire?" ((He closes his eyes his mind trying to sort out the fuzzy memories))

Mel: "No way we got this drunk from that game" ((she nods her head but immediately stops, wincing at the action))

Josephine: ((enters the living room, hair in a towel and wearing leggings and an overside jumper)) "Shot roulette" ((she vomits a little but it is automatically swallowed before she can evict it))

Mel: ((sits next to Jack)) "Yes" ((she sips her water)) "We played shot roulette"

Jack: "That sounds believable" ((he opens his eyes again and notices Hero's absence)) "Hero, still out for the count?"

Josephine: "No, I think he headed home" ((she gestures to his missing coat and shoes))

Mel: "Can we not talk for a second?" ((She buries her head in a cushion and they all fall silent))
