I wake up in grass, and cough as I slowly try to get up. I wipe my eyes, seeing some mahogany haired girl with glasses and a long forest green robe standing in front of me. "Um... uh, why do you look like you're cosplaying for Tsubasacon?" She crouches down, observing me.

"I beg your pardon, young man?" She asks. Oh no. Oh no, oh no, oh no. I look around and realize that I'm surrounded by grey mountains with cavelike holes inside them. A Great Lake lies behind me. And I'm in front of some medieval looking house. Oh great... I can't tell if this is some kind of bad creepypasta or an Isekai anime...

"Young man? Why were you conjured? I was trying to summon a tool!" That's probably why. Yeesh. What the hell is going on? "I don't know, lady. I'm a tool, I guess?" "Oh, you are? You're an oddly shaped tool but I suppose that would make me understand your odd choice in clothing." She apparently took my comment way too literally.

"You're the one wearing weird clothing, lady!" I yell, a bit frustrated and confused. Wasn't I just in the library? "Will you just get up. There has to be some reason you are what came up when I summoned a hammer." I sigh, and she gives me a hand, helping me up.

"Come with me inside. You have explaining to do." M-me?! "Are you kidding? You're the one who popped me here out of nowhere!" She places a hand on my shoulder, gesturing toward the front door of what seems to be her home. "Will you calm down and cooperate?"

I shrug and head in, and she follows behind, locking the door. I look around the house, and notice candles, a wood crafted desk, a bed of hay, a table, and some other medieval looking objects that I'm not sure I can give a name for. "Take a seat, young man." I pull out one of her chairs, and take a seat, laying my head down.

"Stop calling me young man! You're my age!" She huffs slightly, and sits in a seat across from me. That is when I notice a strange drawing on the wall, of a man in armor. He had a scarf, a feather on his helm, and a cape. Wow. What a fashion travesty! "Very well. What should I call you?" She taps her finger nails on the table, seemingly annoyed by me.

"You can call me Clay..." She nods, sighing and closing her eyes. "My name is Lucile. Self taught summoner." Summoner? That's an RPG mage class. Which means she can evoke things into existence. Did she transport me to another world?

"Wait, if you're self taught. Could you have made a mistake and summoned me from another world?" I ask her, panicking a little. "Hm... That is a possibility." "What?!" I yell, slamming my hands on the table. "Well send me back!" She shakes her head. "I can't, Clay. Like you said, it was a mistake. Sending you back is outside of my capabilities. If I tried to do it you would probably just be sent to some other world."

"Damn it!" I hit the table, my eyes welling up a little. "No, no. This can't be happening!" She stretches a hand out and places her hand on my cheek. I can feel the leather of her glove. "Please calm down, Clay. Maybe I can't, but it's my responsibility to get you back. I will find a way." Yep. This is definitely an Isekai anime.

"Alright... I'll try." She nods, a determined look in her blue eyes. She takes her hand back, and sits back in her seat. "I never said it would be easy, but I'll do my best to find you a way back home." I simply nod, a bit upset.

"But for now, just have a bite to eat. I'll get you something." She gets up and glides across the room to some cabinet. Her cloak droops behind her as she moves. "Here. It's some goblin meat." She places it on the table in a wooden bowl. "Ew. No!" I recede back in my chair.

"Well what do you eat in your world? Do you even eat at all?" She slowly takes the meat back to her cabinet, and I am mentally scarred for life at how green it was. Brrr! "I eat stuff like french fries and ice cream." She looks at me funny. "What on Origia are those?!" The name of this world is Origia. Noted.

"It's a bit hard to explain, so maybe we should just look for something less gross?" I shrug, doubtful of my own capability. "Alright. We'll look for something elsewhere. There are some weak monsters nearby." Monsters, huh? It really seems like in some kind of RPG world...

"Well what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Ugh, back out in that heat? I guess I have no choice. Living in this world for awhile should be interesting, but it definitely won't be comfortable. But if I want to get back, I'm going to have to take a stand. I will get back to my friends and family. No matter what. There aren't many people who care about me, but the ones that do I love. And I refuse to leave them behind.

I stand up, a new beat in heart. "Alright. Let's go."
