Chapter Ten.

"Kaki!" Camila turns her head from her bed to see Sofia running into her room excitedly and she can feel her eyes water at the sight of the younger girl out of that hospital bed. She opens her arms immediately and her body releases the tense feeling that had been consuming her ever since Sofia went into surgery last week. Lauren watches from her position beside Camila, a smile beginning to form on her lips when she realizes just how much love is shared between the sisters.

Lauren wishes that she had that; she wishes that she had somebody who loved her as much as Camila, Sofia and Sierra love one another.

"I missed you so much baby." Camila whispers into the crook of Sofia's neck and her eyes close when she feels the arms of her little sister secure grip loosen around her. "Where is Sierra and Alex?" She asks the younger girl who is now looking over towards where Lauren is. Sofia doesn't respond, instead making her way around the bed so that she is stood hesitantly in front of the green eyed girl.

"Are you friends with my sister?" She questions innocently, her brown eyes sparkling with nothing other than curiosity as she stares at the older girl. Lauren looks over to Camila, not knowing how to answer that question because she honestly doesn't know what the relationship between her and Camila is. Are they friends? Throughout the previous week they have spent all of their free time together, figuring out each other and the possibilities of how their friendship could develop in the future. Lauren secretly wants more, Camila secretly wants more but neither of them know if it would only ruin them before they even begun.

Camila smiles over to Lauren and nods her head, deciding to answer her little sister instead after sensing the confused thoughts Lauren is having right now. "Lauren is definitely friends with me, Sofi." She answers with a slight smile gracing her lips and she giggles when Sofia blatantly checks Lauren out, making the older girls cheeks redden heatedly under the intense gaze. Lauren silently hopes that the young girl doesn't hate her or something because she knows exactly just how important she is in Camila's life.

After a few moments without no words spoken, Sofia breaks out into a wide grin making Lauren let out a sigh of relief. "You're pretty Lauren. Kaki, Sierra said to ask you if you need more of your happy pills?" Sofia asks her older sister and Camila's eyes widen at the words, her mind instantly blanking whilst turning to avoid eye contact with Lauren. She shakes her head to the side, her eyes darkening slightly because of the innocent words that fell from her sisters mouth. Camila doesn't blame her sisters, Sierra didn't even know that she had somebody over and how should Sofia know that taking antidepressants is something that you hide from people? Sofia notices the shift in mood and raises her eyebrows a little before turning to run back out of the bedroom, leaving the two friends alone.

Lauren attempts to gain the attention of the small Latina but Camila refuses to meet her stare, glancing at anything but the green eyes which are begging to be stared into. "Camz." She whispered and moved herself so that she is carefully straddling Camila's waist, taking her hands and placing them on the back of her neck. "Camila look at me." Her voice is soft, reassuring and Camila lifts her eyes to find herself looking into amazingly understanding orbs. Her heart increases rapidly as she feels Lauren's fingers playing with the small loose strands of hair on the back of her neck and is unable to stop herself from leaning into Lauren's gentle touch. "Camz I want you to understand that I don't judge you and I will never judge you, especially over something which you can't control. I don't see you any differently because you have to take antidepressants." Lauren speaks lowly, her voice clouding Camila's ears like an addictive melody to a song. She smiles and with great hesitation, leans forward to press her lips against Lauren's puffy cheek.
