Selena's POV
This week has been great.
My family is back with me and we have a stable home. The church..is our home, Gabriel made us a room, me and Carl have our own little room because we have a baby...Gabriel's words not mine. Speaking of him...he has grown our trust, he is one of us now.
I look up from bed and see Mae is still sleeping so I lay back down
"Hey baby, looking beautiful as ever! Makes me just wanna kiss you" Carl says leaning in and kissing me "Shouldn't we get up, start our perimeter check?" I ask pulling away just a little "No, we got time" he says kissing my neck then my lips again.
"Selena! Carl!" Perimeter check! Get your asses up now!"
I jump up almost making Carl fall off the bed. I slip my boots, jeans and red t on I then brush my long auburn hair and walk out the door kissing Mae on the head softly trying not to wake her up.
"Selena! Your up! Finally!" Maggie says happily handing me a bowl of stale cereal..its better then nothing. "What's got you so happy?" I ask "Another day, breathing" She replies "Yeah, I know what you mean." I say rubbing Maggie's back.
"I'm not that hungry" I put the bowl down and walk towards the door "Babe! Come on!" I yell "I'm coming!" Carl says running up to me and opening the door "Ladies first." I say with a chuckle "Ha Ha" he says walking out.
"Do you think we can find him?" I ask "I don't know" Carl says putting his arm around me. Bob dissapeared yesterday night, we don't know if he's alive or if he's dead. I'm actually scared.
"Oh my gosh! Bob!"
Me and Carl get up as fast as we can and run to the front of the Church.
"Oh my gosh!" I say grabbing Carl's arm, I start to cry really hard, he grabs my waist and puts my head in his chest and pats my head "Shhh"
Bob lays there..with one leg...slowly dieing.
"Hunter's"
Bob says before taking his last breath
