Carl's POV
"Peek-A-Boo!!" I say making my daughter laugh, I walk out of her room and into mine and Selena's, I put my hands over her eyes "Peek-A-Boo!" I say giggling "Carl I'm not in the mood! " Selena shouts "What's got you in a bad mood?" I say backing up, she turns around and hugs me tightly "Sorry, its just I have a feeling something bad is going to happen" "Babe, nothing bad has happened the two weeks we've been here" I say pulling away, Selena looks at me in a sad face she looks like she's about to cry! Man why did I open my damn mouth "Sorry Hun I love you" I say pulling her close "I love you more" "Not possible"
Selena's POV
I have a bad feeling something is going to happen and I'm actually scared.
"Hi Selena good morning"
"HI Selena"
"Hey Selena! How's it going!"
I nod my head in response to all the good mornings. I dodge the rest of the people and walk into the Church. I kneel down in front of the Crucifix, "I know I haven't been Holy through this thing and ik your going to punish me. I don't know how and I don't know when but please hurt me, not Mae or Carl, they didn't do anything, I'm the one who your punishing not them."
~~~5 minutes later~~~
"I'm sorry everyone! I have to! I just cant live in this world anymore!"
Oh my gosh! Who is that! I stand up and run out of the Church. I run till I reach the crowd of people screaming. I push myself through and see David with a gun pointed to his head. "Dont do this David! " Rick screams "I have to! When this all started I had a calling..from God to start a community and save people! I knew my journey was going to end but I didnt know when! Lately I've been feeling like its time and Rick! You came to relieve me of my work! You are the man in charge now! " David replied "No man! We can over come this!" Rick spats "There's no denying Gods Will" and with those words David pulled the trigger.
"Its what he wanted Rick respect that! " Glenn said in anxious tone "I do! Alright folks! Don't be sad he's in a better place now! I'm your new leader! Everyone its okay go back to your activities!" Rick said smiling. Even though someone just died I'm happy it wasn't me or Mae and Carl.
~~~Later that Evening ~~~
"Pass the Smores!" I yell sitting on Carl's lap beside the fire "Must seem nice just having you two time with out the baby" Holly says "Yeah especially now that she's teething, we've been up all night non stop" Carl says while rubbing my back. He looks up at me and smiles "You have chocolate on your lip, let me get it" He says leaning in and kisses me. Everyone laughs
This is how we should live not fighting for our lives every second.
Sitting with my family enjoying the wonderful, peaceful fire.
