The Two

Fickle, selfish it might be to ponder

While to each other they’re cutely talking

Myself I know their bond’s not forbidding

People’s wishing to strike them a thunder

Sin they say, not naught but a man’s blunder

Bond against God’s blessing strictly blocking

They resolved holy marriage to mocking

Assumed it will not be, yes, forever

Men garbaged them but what about the men?

What about their spending, iniquity?

Men’s debauchery that is now and then

Worse than what the two did time and again

Not a sin because love’s ubiquity

So God certainly loves the two, Amen.
