Delilah ran up to her room to pack her things. I'm so happy that she's getting adopted. I remember when she was just a little baby and she was brought here by those a**holes that were her parents. I remember how awful they were to her. And then I remember the day she got adopted. Awe I was so glad. And Delilah was the happiest little girl ever! Nobody ever told her that she was getting adopted though, she just thought her real mom had come to pick her up. I couldn't tell her the truth because it would break her heart. And we had always kept in touch ever since she left. I remember her telling me about how her 'dad' was to her. And how he would come home drunk and he would abuse her. But then I remember how they moved away from him and she was so happy. But everything was still so hard for her at school. Ugh she's been through so much. She's been through to much. "Hello?" I was snapped out of my thoughts by Mr. Franta. "Oh I'm sorry...I just lost my train of thought." I apologized. He chuckled. "No your fine! I was wondering if I could have those papers to sign?" He laughed. I laughed to and went back in my office to find Delilah's files. I brought them out to him and he began signing. "Uh sign here, here, here, and here." I pointed to all the places he needed to sign. "Okay!" He said cheerfully. I smiled. I think Delilah will like these people. "Oh and sir...um I'm just going to tell you right now that Delilah doesn't have a very uh shall I say 'delightful' past." I told him. He frowned. "What...what do you mean? Is she okay?" He asked. "Well she's just had a rough life...she's been through a lot." I explained. "Like what?" He asked, sounding worried. Should I tell him? "Um well I'll let Delilah explain that to you when she's ready." I said. He nodded his head and Delilah came running down the steps. Her smile faded when she saw our worried faces. We quickly changed our expressions to happy. "Well Delilah are you ready to go?" Sam asked her. She smiled and nodded. "Thanks for telling me." Connor whispered and then ran outside with the rest of them.
