For me the saddest anime death that had me very sad was Kaori from Your lie in April. It had me hurt man. Kousei had to experience another death of someone he truly loved. I felt so bad for him. And the ending was very sad, yet beautiful.

EDIT So I've been re watching demon slayer and watching Rengoku die again, made me cry.. Like nose running, eyes red CRY. 🤣
