I parked the car, and hurried to get out. I didn't care about grabbing my bags or supplies at the moment. I just stared at the palace that I once lived in, and will live in again. I could see past the guards to the closed iron gates. Past the gates, lied the throne room doors made of imported mahogany. Beyond them, lied Bill.
As I aproched, the guards seemed to move. I got about 5 feet from them bufore 5 of them moved from their positions, surrounding me. They pointed their spears at me and didn't move, waiting for a signal to do their job. Either to kill me or escort me inside. I knew Bill was watching from the spiritual plane of reality. He may not be here on a physical level yet, but I knew he could still command them. How do you think he performed Wierdmaggedon?
I held up my hands and I heard a gasp from behind me. My head swiveled to see who it was. Tourists had started to show up. Some people looked like they knew what to expect, like they had been here before, while others were confused. I knew that they had never seen the guards move in this decade, probably not even in the last century, at least.
I turned back to the entrance to my home. I started to move my hand to my forehead to move my hair, and they closed in on me slightly. As soon as I moved my bangs, they relaxed their positions. The tuirists were going crazy, talking lowly and taking pictures. The guards moved to surround me the way they used to. 2 flancked the back and 2 took position right in front, the fifth guard was in front of all of them.
Before they could escort me into the Palace, I turned to adress the, now large, crowd.
Dipper:
Yes this usually doesn't happen, but no one has gotten as close as I have in so long that no one rememberes what would happen if they did. The only one that would be able to get through, is the reincarnation of Nebu's lost queen. What no one, from this era at least, knew was that his queen was a man. I am his reincarnation. One of the peple stepped forward. He was tall and skinny; wearing khaki shorts, a way to bright shirt and to much sunscreen.
Person 1:
What does that even mean? Like honestly, how are we supposed to know if your telling the truth?!One of the guards went to move twards the man but I stopped him with a wave of my hand.
Dipper:
Its ok, this time. I don't expect everyone to understand at first. Maybe the natives, but not the visitors. You want proof? Ok, I can do that. There are three things. 1. I posess Akil's original jurnal. It is my jurnal from before. 2. You witnessed it this morning, the guards stood down for me. Don't believe me? Go ahead and approach one of the guards. I don't recommend it, but I won't stop you. And 3. I can awaken Nebu. I am the only one going to be able to do this.Person 2:
And how are we supposed to know that you are able to wake him?Dipper:
I knew someone would ask this, so I planned for it. I am going to select a small group out of you. Some natives and some tourists. After I said this, a moderate sized group emerged from the middle of the crowd. Both people who spoke up were among them. After they made it over to me, I told them to walk behind all of the guards. We made our way to the gates and they opened automatically. The heavy mahogany doors were opened by two of the guards in front of me.
The thone room was grand. Extravagant golds, silvers and blues adorned the room. The thrones sat untouched upon a raised dais near the farthest part of the room. The smaller of the 2 thrones, which was mine, was silver with royal blue cushioning. The taller throne, which was Bill's, was gold with burgundy red cushioning. The walls were simple stone, the floor was marble, and there was marble pillars around the room. In the center of the room was a large golden sarcophagus.
The tourists were sent to the side near the entrance. The guards went and stood in a line on either side of the throne. I aproched the sarcophagus slowly, the closer I got the more it seemed to gleam brighter. By the time I reached the side of it, it was glowing brightly. When I touched it a blue line split the sarcophagus in half, top from bottom.
As I retracted my hand, the lid lifted up and sat itself next to the sarcophagus. Inside Bill laid unconscious wearing the same royal fatigues that he wore to propose to me in. I had always hated waking him up, simply because he would be clingy and smother me with love. I had a feeling, however, that niether of us would care about the audience. I had a feeling that he would carry me everywhere if I let him.
He looked so peaceful, much like he usually did when he slept. But that peace dissapeared as I kissed his left eye, the place I usually kissed him in the morning to wake him. As I pulled back, I was pulled forward to meet his lips. A few minutes later, I pulled back breathless. My eyes met his yellow ones; we laughed as he sat up and got out of the coffin.
The crowd went wild with pictures and murmurs, something niether of us minded. That was familiar and typical to us. The murmurs stopped as a screech could be heard from the far left of the room. Looking over, I saw someone I never wanted to see again after last night. Pyronica stood, stairing at us with her teeth barred as she glared at me. She wore just as much pink as she did back then, even going so far as to dye her hair the awful color.
Pyronica:
How the hell?.. Get your damn hands off my fiancè!Bill:
I'm not your damn fiancè! How many time do I have to tell you that?!Dipper:
Bill... Bill.... NEBU! (Bill was fightimg with Pyronica) There is no point fighting with her. But, I will step in. Let me handle her... please?I hit him where I knew it would hurt the most. I knew he would punish me later for stepping in and stopping him from having some fun, but I didn't care. She glared even harder at me and charged when she thought I wasn't looking. I caught her by the throat, effectively startling her, so I could get my point across.
Dipper:
We used to be such good friends, Pyro. Oh the pranks we used to pull. But I got queen-napped and you try to steel my damn husband?! What the hell? He is mine! You remember the prophecy we were told as kids? That was about me and Nebu. So don't start with me! This is your last chance to stand down and prove to me that my friend still exists. Because if you can't, you better hope Bill gets to you before I do!Her eyes widened, and she trembled in fear. Then she seemed to attempt to compose herself, almost being successful.
