I sat in Starbucks waiting for Sally to arrive as I texted Barry.

Blake🥊; he actually shoot himself in the head?

Berkman🔫; yeah, we also have another job

Blake🥊; what is it?

Berkman🔫; it's a bolivian stash house, it's a raid something I'm not used too

Blake🥊; im sure you'll do fine... does fuches know we're working together?

The bell ontop of the door rang.

Berkman🔫; no, and im gonna keep it that way

"Hey!" Sally said slamming her hands on my shoulders.

"Jesus Christ, Sal!" I held my chest.

"Sorry! I forgot." She said sitting in front of me.

"It's fine." I placed my phone down.

"So." I wiggled my eyebrows.

"How was your time with Robbie last night?" She looked down and blushed.

"It was great, I really like him." I smiled.

"Well, I've known him for years and he's the sweetest." I told my bestfriend.

"Enough about me! What about you and Barry?" I rolled my eyes.

"We're just friends, nothing more nothing less."

"Oh, come on Hannah! You should see the way he looks at you when you're not looking!" I looked down.

"Hann... come on, it's been years since Dylan, you don't need to be afraid anymore." I sighed.

She's right, hannah, it's been 5 years

"Your right, I'm a badass boxer. I am going to be fine."

"That's the spirit!" Sally cheered.

"Now, grab your drink. We're going shopping." I stood up.

Sally and I sat in the audience 2 and a half hours later, she was applying concealer to my eye to hide the bruise, but it wasn't working so good.

"Sal, it's not gonna work." I touched her wrist.

"Yeah, besides you look badass like that." I smiled.

"Thanks, you should've seen me after a fight back in the Navy days, and I still look beautiful."

"You do, doesn't she Barry?" I turned and looked at him.

"Hey, Barry." I said as I felt a blush creep up.

"Hey, what're you guys doing?" He sat down in front of us.

"Trying to cover her black eye, but it isn't working so well." Sally said.

Natalie come over sitting down in front of us, getting too close to Barry for my liking.

"Hey, I'm having a party tomorrow. You guys wanna come?" She asked.

I tightened my fists smiling sweetly at her, before looking over at Sally.

"Sure." I said.

"Don't repeat what you did in high school." I squinted my eyes at her.

"Don't you dare!" I snapped.

"Okay, so in my junior year and her senior year. We were invited to this party by one of the popular guys at school, so Hannah got shit faced drunk." I groaned throwing my head back.

"She did body shots off of every hot guy there, she also jumped off the roof of the house onto the pool. And her top came off, it was hilarious!" Sally was dying of laughter.

I rolled my eyes laughing sarcastically at her.

"Haha, so funny. You're just jealous that I'm great at body shots and that one of the guys was Ryland Connors." I said.

She gave me a glare as I smiled at her.

"So, what time should we be there?" I asked.

"Sevenish." I nodded.

She smiled getting up as I looked at Barry.

"Your coming with us." I said.

"I have things to do." I rolled my eyes.

"Please, for me? I'll be your date." I said confidently.

"Come on, Barry. She'll even dress you up." I nodded.

"I'm a fashion designer." I said.

"Okay, I'll come." I smiled.

"Great! Come over at 5:30 tomorrow so we can get ready." I said.

"Gene's here!" Everyone started clapping.

"Whoo! Yay!" Natalie cheered.

"We love you." Confused I clapped along with them.
