Khelani's POV

Chris's mom has been here with us for 3 weeks and her and Chris has gotten even closer

As of right now they went out together to go Christmas tree shopping

Me and baby Cortez are going to see my dad today

Cortez is now 8 months and is even more active

"Heyyy mommy big boy" I said picking him up to go give him a bath

Once i gave him a bath I put on his clothes and sat him in his pin in my room with some toys

Then went into my bathroom to take a shower

When i got out I put on something similar to what Tez had on

My phone started ringing and it was my dad so i picked up

"If you don't hurry yo ass up" he said then hung up

I laughed and picked up Cortez and his baby bag

I buckled up Tez then hopped in the frozen seat and buckled up myself

I listen to some music till we got to the restaurant cause my dad called again and said he was at the restaurant since i was taking to long

Personally I don't think I took long

I pulled up to Teaxas Roadhouse and parked beside my dad

I got Cortez out of the car and we walked into the place and i spotted my dad but he was sitting with someone

As I got closer I noticed it was the girl from my baby shower that my dad told me was my sister

We hadn't spoken since then cause I never got her number

I was kinda mad because this was the reason why my mom started drugs and would hit on me

But all things happen for a reason

"Heyyy yallll" i said sitting down

They both spoke even though my dad was mugging me

I laughed then spotted a waiter walking past and stopped her

"Excuse me may I have a high chair for him" I said pointing at Cortez

"Yes I'll be right back" she said going to get the chair

"Hey you tryna match mama today" I said playing with Cortez stomach

"Ik you see me mugging you" my dad said

" I do but ion know why" i said laughing

"Y'all taking forever to get here and y'all still don't look good" he said

"Hater ain't that right dada" I said talking to Cortez

The waiter then came to our table and took everybody order

I drove home while Cortez slept his life away in the back

We pulled up in front of the house and i told Chris to come get Cortez out the backseat

He kissed me then came to the car and got him out

He took Tez out of his clothes and placed him in his crib

While i hopped in the shower and then got out and lotion up and wrapped my hair up .

Then i hopped in the bed and waited for Chris to get done smoking his blunt on the balcony

When he came in he kissed my head and i laid on his chest and feel asleep
