Chapter 3 Make Up

Key chased you out into the hallway where you were still walking away.

He grabed your arm.

"Let me go!" You yelled.

Suddenly Key kissed you.

You struggled to escape, but Key was holding you tightly.

Breaking the kiss, but still holding you he began to speak.

"Listen, I'm sorry that I did that. Honestly the reason why I did it I don't know why. I thought that because I've always had you that you'd never leave me. I didn't realize that I would lose you. I understand if you want to leave me. I love you just know that."

He seemed different.

Changed.

"Key- I. I don't want to leave you, but you cheated on me and it was our anniversary. I love you too, but I think we need a break."

He was quiet.

"Okay..." he spoke with a sad tone.

Letting go of your hand slowly he took one step back and took a look at you once more then walked out of the apartment complex.

You walked back to your apartment.

As soon as you closed the door you fell to your knees and cried.

"Whyyyyy," you sobbed.

Kicking around and hitting the floor and wall with your fists you cried all day.

You didn't even bother to eat.

Yous fell asleep on the floor.

It was like this for a month.

You didn't even talk to anyone. You barley ate. You didn't leave the apartment. Eventually you got fired at work for not showing up.

You didn't care. Your heart hurt and you needed to gather yourself before facing anyone again.

Your phone rang suddenly.

You didn't want to answer, but when the person kept calling you got frustrated and went to see who it was.

'Unknown Number'

You picked up the phone.

"Hey meet me at the BBQ place right now." A girl said and hung up as quickly as she spoke.

Confused you put the phone down.

You decided to go out and see what was going on.

You put on some sweats and left the house.

Reaching the place you looked around, but saw no one.

You sat down at an empty table.

"Y/N?" A familiar voice calles you.

You turned to see Key walking towards you.

He looked awful.

His whole body and face look pale and he was ridiculously boney looking.

Walking to you looked like a battle on it's own.

He sat in front of you.

"What are you doing here?" You asked a little annoyed that he of all people was here.

"I was called to come here by someone. You?"

"Don't worry about it..." you said crossing your arms and turning away from him.

"Ahh.. okay" Key said a little sad.

"Same... someone told me to come." You finally answered him.

"Uhm who...?" He asked.

"A girl."

"Ah me too."

You caught on that this wasn't no coincidence. It was planned.

Looking around you saw a group of people who looked familiar.

'Jonghyun, Minho, Taemin, and Onew.'

They did this.

A girl was with them.

That was probably who called.

"Well I'm leaving," You said getting up wanting to leave.

"W-wait. Let's eat! You haven't had breakfast or lunch huh?" He asked.

You shook your head no.

"My treat!" He insisted.

Seeing as to how you had no money for food you took him up on his offer.

You both ate and conversed away.

At first you both sat there awkwarly, but after forgetting about what had happened you both slowly comfortable.

Smiling and laughing the whole day together.

It was around 7pm when you hoth decided to head home.

"I'll walk you home." Key smiled at you.

You smiled at him and let him walk with you.

Even on the way home you both talked a lot and remembered the memories you both shared.

"Well see you around," you said turning to the complex.

"Ah y/n, actually I have something I want to say."

You turned wondering what it is he wanted to say.

"Okay it took me sometime to figure out what to say when I'd see again, but I forgot after seeing you today. Listen. I- I still love you a lot. I don't know if all of today was your way of forgiving me for my mistake. I hope you have forgiven me.

I miss you... please tell me that we can go back to being together.

I can't stop thinking about you.

I can't eat.

Sleep.

I need you."

Tears in your eyes you spoke. He was just like you. You had thought about going home today after this encounter and taking your life. You couldn't live without him.

"Key.." was all you could say.

Suddenly he got down on a knee with a box in hand.

You gasped realizing what he was doing.

You walked to him and kissed his lips.

He placed the ring on your finger and you kissed once more.
