Chapter Seven

(Nathaniel's pov)

I was walking down the road when I heard someone say my name.

"Hey Nathaniel," a feminine voice said, I slowed my walking as I turned around to see Katie standing behind me.

"Oh, hey Katie," I said as a small smile made it it's way to my lips.

"I see I'm not the only one who likes to take walks at night," she said smiling.

"It helps to clear my head." Katie looked at me for a moment before she started to speak again.

"Would you like for me to go?" she asked.

"No you're fine," I said.

"Hey Katie I was actually wanting to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"I was wondering if you'd like to join me and my friend for lunch tomorrow?" I asked as an unsure look came across her face.

"I mean if you're busy tomorrow or not comfortable with it then it's ok," I said.

"No it's fine," she smiling.

"What time tomorrow" Katie asked.

"One, that's when he gets his lunch break."

"Sure it sounds fun," she said as her smile widened.

Jason this better not back fire on me, I thought as Katie and I continued to walk down the road.
