The Wasp

~ 4 ~

Scott and Lili travelled, for what that felt was an endless uphill struggle. Lili flew for weeks on end, to try and navigate them to where they needed to go, the highest peak of the Himalayan Hills, to the Temples, where they would find, Lane. Lili's younger sister, and the youngest daughter of Tony and Pepper.  Compared to Lili, who took on the various roles at Stark Industries, Lane went to live a quiet life in the Himalayan Hills, with Dr Stephen Strange, to become a sorcerer of time and flow, while Lili took the helm of Stark Industries with Scott Lang, by her side.

Lane wasn't interested in sticking around with Lili and Scott after Tony passed away.  If anything, Lane lived a very Pepper lifestyle, of fortitude, and quietness, while Lili went into the public eye to run Stark Industries, she got married almost straight away, Lili never had a moment of rest, she always on the move, improving technology and all sorts. But, when they finally got to the highest point, and the highest temple.

Lili flew in, through a tiny gap through the window. She desized herself, and so did Scott. The two looked around, for a moment. " Alright, the main temple part is this way. " Lili looked at Scott, " Look at you, being an orienteering expert. "Scott rolled his eyes, " Ha, ha... really funny Lili... I know somethings, not most things, but somethings.- " Lili grinned, " Well, it's gotten us, this far. We have one task, and that's to get Strange, and Lane on our side. "  Lili desized again, and flew down the hallway, while Scott jumped and slid under things. " A flight disk, who be great. Right about now. " Scott added, under his breath.

Lili rolled her eyes, " Aw, look at little Scottie, throwing a hissy fit over not having a flight disk. " Scott gave a breathless sigh and vacant stare, towards Lili. " Can I get you a juice box, and cheese wizz to fix up, your mood? " Scott just kept glaring at her, trying to hold his blank stare. " Wait... do you have that? " Lili shook her head, " Scott, the task at hand.- " Scott nodded, " Right, so... how are we supposed to resize without anyone noticing us? "

Lili jumped behind one of the plants, near them. She looked at her gage and laughed. " Well... this will be very interesting,  Alright, on 3... we resize. Okay? " Scott nodded, " I'm ready. - That's perfectly not confusing. " Lili nodded, " 1...2...3... "They both resized, without any problems. " Alright... where are we going, Lil-Bil?- "  Lili looked at her watch, that a hologram appeared on the watch, she looked at Scott and pointed right. " To the main mediation room, is this way." Scott nodded, " Right, let's go there.- " Lili responded, with a smile.

The two quickly shrunk, to tic-tac size, and ran down the hallway. The hallway was decorated, in all traditional artwork, and wooden floor, and beautiful decorations.  Lili and Scott took the hands of each other, as Lili flew into the main door, through the small gap in the door. They were in the room, Lili saw Lane, using sorcerer magic, with Doctor Stephen Strange.  Lili looked at Scott, " Alright, on my count... 1...2....- " Scott had already resized, and Lili rolled her eyes, " Good one.- " She resized herself and walked over to Lane.

Lane looked over at Scott and Lili. " Lili.. what...- what are you doing here...?- " Lane quipped, walking over to her, to hug her and Scott. " It's a long story, Lane. Very long. " Scott nodded in acknowledgement. " Well... what do you want me for? " Lane asked while looking at Stephen also. " I've come to form a team, to take down the evil forces, and I've also been asked to bargain. " Stephen rolled his eyes, " You couldn't resist it, could you?- " Lili shook her head, " Nah, I couldn't. " Stephen looked at Lili, " Why would you need a team? Hasn't Thanos been? " He gestured suffocation, with his hands.

" All so, we thought. - " Stephen threw his hands in the air, " Nothing is simple these days, is it? " Lili shook her head, " Life was never meant to be easy, was it? " Lane nodded, " She's right, I mean... if I have to go back and fight for a better world. I will. Gladly. That's why we fight, so we can end the fight, so we end the fight. So, we get to go home, hopefully, this time properly. "  Lili giggled, with a nod. " We hope so. - "

Whilst, Lili and Lane were talking with Stephen.  Scott felt weak in the knees. He looked over at Lili, with a look in his eyes. " I... I don't feel so good... " Lili turned around, to see her husband, his knees on the ground, and him whimpering, the ground started to go grey, as Scott looked up and Lili, something glowing brightly in his hand, glowing red, like a aura that was drawing Lili's eyes to it. 

Stephen came over to Scott and looked at him. " He's pale, he's not feeling okay. He's very, very weak... Yellowjacket must be succeeding, if Scott is already feeling weak. "  Lili jumped to her knees,  and hold his head. " Scott... Scott... Scott... - " She said, holding his head, now in a tight grip. Stephen looked down at them, " Lili... you've got to get Scott back to New York, and tell Steve. I and Lane will work on the situation here. Lord, knows how much time he has left. "

Lili looked at Scott, who's face was slowly turning black, and dull. Scott could barely talk, " Li... Don't bother...- " Scott said, wearily. " I'm getting you, help. " Lili quickly grabbed the red stone from Scott's left hand, and yelled. " Stephen, catch! " Stephen looked over, and grabbed the stone, quite easily. " Got it! " Lili nodded, and desized, as Scott weakly was able to the same. They navigated their way back to New York, to find Steve Rogers.
